Jews and Christianity

I always was led to believe that Jews were our cousins and we should support Israel. To support Jews is to support Christianity. But I have non Christian friends who have asked me if I know what Jews think about Christians and Jesus. They told me that a Rev I.B. Pranaitis has translated The Talmud from Hebrew to English. He is a Hebrew scholar who was the first to make a mainstream translation of the Jewish holy book. I read some of the English Talmud it and it says many shocking things about Jesus, Mother Mary and Christians. It is unbelievable and very hurtful and vile. It was so hurtful that I could not read anymore. Is it just old wives tale or a fictional book or is the translation done incorrectly ? I wonder if anyone can comment about the translation and what we think about it.
My friends also told me that I should see some videos about what Jews are doing to Christians in ISrael. I saw the videos and was very surprised. Some people in Israel, wearing black coats were saying very nasty things about Jesus and Christians. There was one video where some kids were saying very very bad things about Jesus. There was also a show that was a comedy talk show and it was saying errible terrible things about Mother Mary and Jesus. Jesus did not walk on water and Mother Mary was not a virgin and such terrible unture things. i could not watch it anymore.

  The Talmud is not scripture. The TANAKH is the Hebrew Bible "Old Testement".
Many Jews ARE believers in Yeshua/Jesus. The book of Revelation says Yahweh (God) will call 144,000 Jews to be His endtime evangelists.
Israel is still Yahweh's Land & His people. Some Israeli's are hostile to Christian's, but I have visited The Land 2 times & found most Isrealis to be nice folk.

  My Brother with Biblical Questions...

If you review some of my old Blogs in the Archive...you will find much teaching and Biblical clairification to many of your Biblical Questions. My writing comes from the Jewsih perspective although I am a Gentile. I was personally tutored by a learned man in Jewish Law who himself was personally tutored by a Rabbi who taught in a Hebrew Theological Seminary. Later my dear Brother "won" that Rabbi to Yeshua and much came out of it for the glory of Messiah. The Spirit of God will reveal truth to your heart through study of the Scripture and devotion to Yeshua.

  Dear brother understandinggod, It seems that you have been getting your information from people who are antisemite, or very ill informed. Much of the stuff you mentioned come from white supremacist rhetoric. Please be careful. I have taken the time to research and study this Rev I.B. Pranaitis and the Talmud. I made comment in your latest blog "Mnay Jews Claim Jesus was a Jew..but he wasn't". Dear brother, please be very careful, Christians are called to love the world and people of all races and ethnic origins, the stuff you are getting into and quoting is not pleasing to God.
