TBN Entertaining Lucifer

Anybody who watches TBN TV, or any of their affiliated programs should be aware of their recent decisions to entertain Lucifer.

In November of 2005 TBN Suspended Hal Lindsey from their network. You can read Hal Lindsey's "Urgent Personal Message " to catch up on things if you are not familiar with this whole issue.

For those of you who are not aware of this issue, I'll briefly quote some points from his message:

The International Intelligence Briefing has been removed from the air on TBN for the entire month of December (and perhaps never to be broadcast again?). Some at the network apparently feel that my message is too pro-Israel and too anti-Muslim.

The feeling must be that honestly reporting news on current issues concerning radical Islam is thwarting evangelism to Muslims at large, particularly Palestinians. I personally believe that both Christian Palestinians and moderate Muslims who are being intimidated and persecuted by the radicals actually welcome honest reporting on the situation.

I can't understand how any Christian that is aware of the dangers radical Islam poses to our nation, Christians worldwide and the nation of Israel can issue a mandate to soft-pedal the truth about it.

Make no mistake; I deeply love the Trinity Broadcasting Network. I have been intimately involved with this incredible worldwide ministry for over three decades. Actually from its very beginning. More than most, I know and appreciate the tremendous sacrifices its founders made to build it. I deeply appreciate the platform TBN has given me in years past. I honestly believe there are few organizations in operation today that can play as great a role in the end-time harvest as TBN. I truly believe TBN's greatest days could be yet to come.

The decision makers at TBN also need your prayers. This could be a disastrous turn in their ministry. God will not be mocked in the things that He makes clear are precious to Him.

Shortly thereafter I sent an email to TBN explaining my utter dismay at their pulling one of their leading Hosts off-the-air.

Their response back was about as cookie-cutter as could be and it was clearly a massive PR attempt to cover-up their new policies to entertain Lucifer and his puppets by allowing their ministry to water-down the reality of Christian persecution around the world!

We have received your email regarding the preemption of Hal Lindsey's program, International Intelligence Briefing, and want to assure you that this is primarily for the month of December, in order to air special Christmas programming. We fully anticipate Hal's program will be back on the air after the Christmas season.

So What Does TBN Do?

On 1/3/2006 Hal Lindsey posted a "Breaking News" announcement, entitled: "Hal Lindsey Leaving TBN - Refuses to Compromise to Stay on Air ".

Dated January 1st, Mr. Lindsey sent a letter to TBN, which he published on his website.

His letter starts this way:

Paul, Jr. relayed your message to me that you are both in agreement on the policy of nothing negative being said on TBN about Muslims. Hearing that you also warned John Haggee, Perry Stone, Jack VanImpe and others of this policy caused me to realize that your are not going to modify your position.

So, clearly, TBN has began to take a stance that is not just affecting Hal Lindsey, but also some of the leading Hosts on their network: Haggee, VanImpe, Stone. All great men of God who understand the reality of Christianity and other religions. As Lindsey put it:

But I don't agree with your reasoning that warning about the dangers of "radical Islam" is a hindrance to the Gospel to all Muslims. The 'Radicals' are intimidating the moderate Muslims -- not to mention their terrible persecution of Arab and Palestinian Christians.

One of the things I have always enjoyed about Hal Lindsey's program is his uncompromised value to tell news like it should be. He addressed that in his letter to TBN:

In addition, the IIB is a news show from a Christian perspective. It is impossible to report the news without mentioning in a 'negative light' the radical Islamists who are wreaking murder and destruction on the Western world daily. It is truthfully reporting the most relevant news that made IIB one the most popular programs on TBN.

After Mr. Lindsey released this letter to the public I once again emailed TBN and (once again) got back another cookie-cutter email that clearly shows they have no desire to resolve and repent of their hideous course of action to entertain Lucifer. Their response to me:

TBN has supported Hal for 25 years and has given him free air time and free program production all these years, which amounts to several million dollars. We love and pray for Hal and wish him God's very, very, very best. Maybe he'll decide to come back "home to us" in the near future. We surely hope so. In the meantime, please enjoy 24 hours a day of wonderful TBN programs. We need your love and prayers daily.

To me, it is appalling that TBN would simply shrug-off one of their longest friends and hosts. To degrade him leaving to such as point where all they can say is "Oh, well, we've spent millions of dollars supporting him - if he does not like our new policies, oh well!". Clearly, at least to me, TBN cares more about their own policies of entertaining Lucifer then they do about maintaining a righteous, accountable, and God-centered ministry.

Any act of denying the facts of any religion that is anti-Christ is an act of entertaining Lucifer!

After looking into this I sent an email expressing my disappointment in their discission to not FULLY support the persecuted church. I got the same email response mentioned above. I replied with a specific request for their stand on the persecuted church. I got the same email. The email was signed, "Trying to do our best for Jesus". At some point will the response only read, "Trying to do our best"? Thanks for the heads up.

The problem we faced was receiving very serious and threatening E-mails, letters, etc. to TBN because of statements Hal had made concerning Islam and the Arab people. My plea to Hal is to please not focus so much on the political aspects of the Middle East and .to focus more directly on Biblical perspectives.

As soon as the current TBN series "Against All Odds" ends we will hope to see Hal's program back home on TBN. By the way, I know you will enjoy the series "Against All Odds," it focuses on the amazing miracles Israel experienced during their three major wars.

Please know that we love you and appreciate your sincere concern for Hal and for TBN.

Hey all,

I noticed today that a publication called "OC Weekly" (Orange County Weekly), based out of Santa Ana, California picked up on this Blog Entry and mentioned our website in their article!!

The author of the article, Gustavo Arellano, even titled his article after the title of this blog!!

Sadly, I have to agree with every single comment that Mr. Arellano stated in his news article.

Perhaps one day TBN will wake up to the fact that while God is a Good God, a Just God, a Righteous Good... He is also a Jealous God who demands no other Gods in the lives of those who follow Him, that He is a God who has made it very clear that good and bad cannot be united... and that where Lightness dwells, darkness must flee.

I fully understand the Christian desire to "love" those of other faiths -- however, I also fully understand that Christians MUST NOT unite themselves together with those of other faiths. Scripture is very clear on this! A man and women must both be believers, the 10 virgins, and going back to the Old Testament - Gods demand that His Children completely and utterly destroy all those of other faiths ... for the sake of protecting your own faith from being lead astray. While I do not believe we should put to death those of other faiths, I do believe the Word of God is very clear... the Christian faith and the faith of others MUST NOT be united together.

Hopefully... maybe... prayerfully... maybe someday TBN and others will realize this Biblical principle.

As Mr. Arellano says in his article:

TBN's decision to ax Zola Levitt Presents outraged the same Christian critics all over again. One poster on the program's website wrote that TBN is "way too much into the P.C. garbage," while another charged Crouch "is in the process of repainting the world religion of Islam." Christianblog.com simply stated Crouch was "entertaining Lucifer" with his decision.

Wow I was wondering why Hal Lindsey didn't come out on TBN anymore. I truly believe Hal was very anointed by God and God used him very well. I so didn't know any of this either! Shocked! All I can say is WOW
