i am a bible beliving follower of Jesus Christ.i thank God everyday that he is a God of second chances. if he wasn't where would i be ?he tells me to keep my mind on him and the things of him, and he will keep me in perfect peace.his peace passes allunderstanding.you can't buy it either.i remember asking himfor a wife a godly one and he had to get me ready first to receive her.it was like going to a resturant and looking at a menu and trying to deceide and he said "let me help you with that".i remember growing up in nyc and they call it 'the greatest city in the world".i'm just passing through this world and when Jesus comes back i'm going with him to the "real greatest city" and it's in another world beyond this present one.i'm blessed to be married this year to a beautiful wife who puts GOD first.it was a even bigger blessing that she is a minister.and most important , she knows and told me that God created adam first.lolshe's been very encouraging, supportive and edifying. just like it says in the bible.we both read proverbs 31 and i had to make sure i read all of it and followed it cause i love the Lord and i told him i would do whatever he asks me to.he even had me to read alot of different resources christian ones on marriage to learn how he wants it done along with the bible and guess what? when you pray for him to lead you he will.i also have 3 beautiful girls and now i became a grandfather.my prayer today is that my story blesses you today in your walk with the Lord and never let his outstretched hand go when you grab hold of it. it will keep you from falling.
being born and raised in nyc, the lord placed in my spirit that there was world beond nyc.he blessed me to travel the world via the us army.after the death of my mom in 1990 while i was in hawaii, ihad a dear friend in my army unit who thought i was a christian when i wasn't and he ministered to me when i didn't know it.i finally gave my life to the lord the following year.but i only gavve me part of me and not all of me. i wanted him to do a quick fix but that isn't how god works.got caught up in church politics and backslide for 9 years.god got my attention when the military sent me over to iraq.that was a long plane ride, big ocean and alot of sand. i thought i would never see my family again. one hot 150degree day, i got down on my knees ans said ,lord if you get me out of this place i will do whatever you want me too. he kept his word and i kept mine.i only look back to where he's taken me from to where he's got me know and wherehe is taking me.it's all about him.when you get misdirected and unfocused go back to your first love in prayer(HIM).i'm a follower of christ who is my lord and savior.i'm learning cause i'm beliving his word to become a diciple of christ.my job is to know him and make him known.may the lord bless everyone who reads this, amen
