I live in Van Buren Arkansas USA
I was born in western Oklahoma. We moved around a lot when I was growing up and lived in Colorado, Arizona, Kansas and Arkansas. I graduated from High School in 1967 and joined the Marine Corps that June. I spent four years in the Marines including a tour in Vietnam. After getting out I worked at numerous jobs, route sales, truck driver, ranch hand, store clerk, meter reader, service station attendant, wire-drawer, express agent, traffic manager, janitor, and the last five years before retirement I drove a sweeper truck cleaning parking lots. I'm now retired and thank God for it.
I was saved in a small Southern Baptist church in Oklahoma when I was in college. It was during a revival and the evangelist was preaching on the blood of Christ. That simple message spoke to me the way no sermon ever had. It was as if God had raised a veil and I saw my absolute need of Christ and my own inability to save myself. I thought about it for several days and the next time I was in church I walked the aisle and surrendered my life to Christ. There is one thing I have learned the past forty years, He is always faithful no matter badly we stumble fail Him. He never fails. Not once in forty years has He ever done anything but good for me. How can I not love Him!
