I'm a dedicated man. I was born in the town I'm in now. I'm working the same first full time job I ever had. I just wish I could say the same about my marriages. I'm trying very hard to make the second one work.
I've started this blog because of encouragement from my brothers in Christ. I am involved in a men's ministry, we are trying to get our men fired up for the Lord. I'm praying that my little devotions and thoughts encourage many to read God's Word daily. It is our road map to our lives. It is our sword that devides truth from lies.
My devotions I pray encourage, strengthen, and inspire people to be closer to the Lord and want more of Him in their life. It is not I that stirs you, but God who works through me. I can do nothing without Christ...
I found my Lord and Savior when I was 28 in 1989 after my 1st wife left me for another man after 7 years of marrige with one child, a son. Previously I was searching through the Catholic church for my meaning to life. My 1st wife was a proclaimed Catholic. A friend at work invited me to a Four Square church where I found my answer after my divorce. I have been trying to serving Him ever since 1989. I had visitation with my son on weekends, so it was the perfect chance to help him get to know the Lord and guide him when he was with me. In fact, I was the one that led him to the Lord one Wednesdasy night after church. I cried like a baby after I led him in prayer to recieve the Lord. Now he made some wrong choices as we all do as he bacame a teen, but I'm happy to say he is serving the Lord today and active in our church. In 1995 I met a Christian woman that was all I was looking for in a wife and we were married in December of 1995. We now both serve our Lord together.
