I am married I am a female
I am 56 years old.
My birthday is: January 10th.
I live in Cumming Georgia USA
I was saved by the grace of God 40 years ago and fell away, so far away that I wondered for a time if I had really been saved. In His grace, He brought me back to Himself 22 years ago. I'm married for 31 years, 2 kids. My youngest completed 5 years at Georgia Tech and is home until his game development company gets off the ground. My oldest, the mother of my granddaughters, moved when her husband was transferred to another state. My granddaughters are 17 and 9.
Wow. This is kinda hard. I was saved when I was 15 years old at an old-fashioned tent revival. I was a "Jesus Freak" of the '70s. But then I fell away, waaay far away. I fell so far away that when the Lord brought me back many years later, I wondered had I been saved in the first place. After all, surely anyone who is a Christian and with the Holy Spirit dwelling in them, could not have done the things I did. I am pleased to say that I have resolved that question in my mind. The Lord used a never-ending supply of hardships, challenges, and trials in my life to bring me to my knees. Illnesses -- mine and my children's, general "bad luck", unknowingly purchasing a stolen car . . . all in a very short time span. Finally, in the emergency room with my then 18-year old daughter, I cried out to the Lord. "Okay, God! You've got my attention. I am listening, and my life is Yours."
