Born in a small town in North Carolina and raised Pentecostal Holiness. Currently an unaffiliated born again Pentecostal who believes all gifts of the Spirit are alive and well in the body today.
Born in 1948 of a holiness mother full of faith and full of love. She taught me about God and the love of my Lord and Savior, Jesus. I have been a believer all my life. However, I did not become a Christian until early in 1982. I was in bed reading a book written by H A Ironside and Holy Ghost conviction came on me calling me to Jesus. I couldn't resist Him any longer. I put the book down, raised my hands toward heaven, and confessed I was a sinner and needed His forgiveness and Him in my life as my Lord and Savior. Immediately I felt a presence fill my soul with purity I could not comprehend. I had been cleansed of all the filth accumulated over 33 years of worldly living. There was no doubt either spiritually or physically. I knew I had been purified through the cleansing Blood of my Lord. I was so elated. I cried out to him, " Oh Lord, if you can cleanse this sorry soul surly you can heal this body". I had been suffering with a physical problem for over 11 years. I fell asleep that night praising the Lord. The next morning I awoke fresh, rested, and happier than I remembered ever being. The physical problem was gone and has never, and will never, return. I was a new man both spiritually and physically. I have walked with my Lord since that moment. Praise the Lord who alone is good. Holy is His Name.
