Revolution
Posted by:  coolestnick14   (Posted: 01/06/2009 9:05am)
I was just sitting alone in the room yesterday and i just felt somehow God was speaking to me so much. It was thoughts after thoughts coming throughout the day and i just couldn't resist but to seize the opportunity to study and share on making a revolutionary stand in saving this generation that i love. I was just flipping through the bible and this verse below just caught my eye and i was just stuck onto that verse from midnight till almost 2 am in the morning. The Lord said, "You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by man.'' Matthew 5:13 There are many lives out there at stake which are yet to be saved because of some who chose to reject God's word while others are just not given an opportunity to know the Lord and just live their entire life without knowing him. Well this is where we, the children, ambassadors and representatives of Christ come in. We serve a purpose on earth and that's by sharing God's love. Take...

stongholds...
Posted by:  repentence101   (Posted: 01/06/2009 8:23am)
Today, has I was mediating upon a few things for the new year, the Holy Spirit placed upon my heart the word "Strongholds." Stronghold, is a fortified place or walled city by definition. Looking at it in the spiritual sense, strongholds are often things that hold us in sin. They are areas in our lives that we seem to have trouble in; braking habits, emotions, addictions, and any other thing that we cant figure out why we do them. This very subject is rarely discussed and at the least very few pastors know anything about and/or refuse to talk about because of their personal agendas. 2 Corinthians 10 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, Paul talks about the pulling down of strongholds with the discussion talking about the mind. For one to understand you have to truly understand that the mind is a battlefield. It is the center of our imaginations, thoughts, ideas, starting place of passion, creativity, and evilness. The nature...

What does it mean to be a Chrisitan?
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 01/06/2009 6:11am)
Of all the questions which desperately need to be considered and answered, I can than think of none greater and of more importance at the current time than the following. Pardon me while I shout; WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A CHRISTIAN? I honestly believe if this question were asked of everyone who claims to be a Christian; the results would be astounding, unbelievable and disturbing to say the least. I can guarantee you that there would absolutely be no one answer which would provide a consensus and therefore be mutually acceptable to all parties. In fact, I am quite sure the results of such a survey would conclusively bear witness to the utterly broken state of Christianity. Far and away the prevailing answer would have to be something akin to "being a good person". In other words, the vast majority of "Christians" define themselves in hopes of being what they defined. The overwhelming majority of "Christians" know little or nothing about Christian doctrine, dogma or theology. My opinion is that upwards of 50% of professing "Christian's" knowledge of their faith is limited to understanding the word "amen", for that is what they look forward to hearing at church....

Names of Satan with a little history - Lucifer?
Posted by:  papillionkiller   (Posted: 01/03/2009 5:03pm)
I think I read in a blog somewhere someone asking about Satan or about the name Lucifer and where his names come from, if not the Bible. Thought I would share a few names of the Ol'boy from the Bible and varying tribes and writings. See if we can find a root or two of some names we use for the Adversary. N.T. usage Let me start with Mat. 4:10, 11 simply because Jesus uses the Chaldee/Aramaic origin word Satan (Satanas). V.11 we see "devil" this word is interchangeable with "Satan". Bare with me a minute because there is 37 times this word (Satan) is used in the N.T. and we can learn a few things from some of the verses about his names also about how he operates but that is another blog. Look at the definitions for "Satan" and "Devil" we get "accuser", "adversary", "prince of evil spirits". Looking further thru the verses with this name we get in Mat. 10:25 "Baalzebub or Beelzebul" the origin of this name is ancient and I will cover it more in the O.T. section of Satan's names. For now, it is, in the N.T. used as an equal name for Satan....

A Case of Mistaken Identity
Posted by:  rhennyah   (Posted: 01/02/2009 8:45am)
Mistaken Identity While I was in prayer this morning...the Lord spoke to my heart the words..."Mistaken Identity" and then reminded me of something he'd taught me recently, through the Word, regarding Jesus "walking on the sea"... "And straightway, Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, "It is a spirit"; and they cried out for fear. But straightway, Jesus spake unto them, saying, "Be of good cheer, it is I; be not afraid." (Matthew 14:22-27) KJV The Lord revealed to me, that there are times and seasons in the natural realm, as well as in the spiritual realm. That just as the disciples were 'naturally' surrounded by darkness...

The Error of Arrogance is killing Christianity
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/30/2008 6:03am)
There is an extreme desire within all of us to feel we are right about things. No one, unless they are masochistic, actually enjoys being wrong. The intensity and passion one feels about being right depends upon things such as training, upbringing and personality. A domineering and dominating person will obviously feel the need to be right far more than the quiet and laid back person. It both astounds as well as amuses me at times to see equally well educated and pedigreed individuals go to great lengths to prove to everyone around them that they are right on a matter. Haven't we all witnessed an argument between so-called experts who passionately throw a tantrum because their position was doubted or questioned by someone they feel of inferior intellect? People who make their living projecting to everyone around them that they are right cannot handle any challenge which might prove them wrong. We live in an age of endless experts all telling us what to believe, how to think and what we can and cannot do in this life. Whether in the governmental, economical, educational or religious realms; these "know it alls", whose heads are ten times the size of...

The Battle between theology/ideology vs. personal and simple faith
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/30/2008 1:55am)
I understand that a huge majority of Christians DO NOT believe in any kind of a "rapture" event, and that is each Christian's prerogative. I also understand that awhile back, a very popular post on this site made a very strong case for wanting to stay here on earth and be a part of what lies ahead. However popular this idea may be, I fail to understand its appeal IF the word of God as written in Revelation and all through the Old Testament regarding the "end times" or "last days" is correct. This topic, along with countless others boils down to the simple idea of whether the Word of God is to be believed as written or whether the Bible is to torn apart and put back together as theology. Most theologians do not believe in the literal interpretation of the Book of Revelation. They want to make what is written there to be symbolic or in the past tense. If the Book of Revelation can indeed be made of none effect, then logically there remains no justification for a "rapture" event, a second coming of Christ or even a New Jerusalem. Those of us who consider ourselves Fundamentalists,...

One obscure life which altered the entire course of history; Jesus
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/22/2008 8:15am)
After the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the apostles gathered together one last time to hear the final words Jesus gave before returning to the heavens. While standing on the Mount of Olives, they first listened to Jesus and then watched as he was taken up and a cloud received Him out of their sight. While they all stood there, amazed at the sight they had just witnessed, two "men" in white apparel stood by them. These two angels had a message to deliver to those who had just watched their Lord ascend into the heavenly places. Acts 1:11 records what these two angels had to say: "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." This promise of the physical return of Jesus Christ to earth is our hope. Jesus had previously taught his disciples about His second coming, especially in Matthew 25. Later, the apostle John received specific information regarding this event which is recorded in the latter chapters of the Book of Revelation. Regardless of one's position on the Rapture,...

Diligently Seeking Wisdom Again.
Posted by:  bimonics   (Posted: 12/17/2008 12:15pm)
Diligently Seeking Wisdom Again. Make the effort (my soul), for you will not only find wisdom for daily practical living, but you will also find Jesus Christ again; "in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." - Col 2:3. He is indeed the greatest benefit of diligently seeking after wisdom. And what is your effort required to obtain God's wisdom? It is to highly value its worth and "seek her as silver...as for hidden treasures". For you to ask in faith for wisdom and "cry out for discernment...to lift up your voice for understanding". To meditate on the word of God and "apply your heart to understanding". For you to hear the word of God and "incline your ear". Are not the benefits of wisdom worth the effort necessary for you to obtain it? To be able to walk in goodness and righteousness, living a life blessed by God? For you to be delivered from the seductions of immoral women? To be delivered from the plans of evil men? For you to obtain discernment for making the right choices? For you to know God and enjoy His providential care, even that special care for those who love...

Fatherly Counsel For Godly Living.
Posted by:  bimonics   (Posted: 12/16/2008 10:51am)
Accept Fatherly counsel for godly living, my soul. Are you willing to let the wisdom of God in all its manifestations guide you in this life? Then get to know Jesus for He is the ultimate place of wisdom and knowledge (Col 2:3). No set of Biblical chapters begin to exhaust the wisdom God offers, but much can be found in the proverbs of chapters 10-31. You will find that the Fatherly counsel for godly living includes; six things negatively considered for a wise life, a high estimation of the value of wisdom, and six keys for a good life. First, you must not envy the oppressors, nor be jealous of the prosperity of the wicked, for they will never be as rich as the righteous! This one envy or jealousy, if not properly identified and cured, can dominate many years of your life. They often become an indistinguishable part of your motivation in all things. The Lord will bless the upright and just, the humble and wise - Pr 3:32-35. Hopefully, you have seen it already, but if not just hold on to what Wisdom through the Word says. It is a significant trap for you to envy the...

Teach Your Children Well.
Posted by:  bimonics   (Posted: 12/15/2008 9:54am)
"Teach your children well, and their father's hell will slowly go by. Feed them on your dreams, and the one they pick, is the one you'll know by." I was working the night shift at 'stop n rob' store, when the policeman informed me that the drunk they had just arrested was one of the men that had recorded this song years earlier. Instructing my soul in childhood wisdom. Value the childhood Memories Of A Wise Man, my soul. Are you telling your children these words? "Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding." - Pr 4:7. Would you like to have a son like Solomon? To have such a son or daughter, you must be like his father. A man with a similar attitude toward God's word - Ps 19:7-11. Not perfect, but still "a man after God's own heart" (like your well-beloved David). Because Solomon's upbringing stressed the value of wisdom, he chose wisdom over riches, honor, and long life, and was blessed by all - 2Ch 1:11-12. You should not be surprised by his answer when he was given a choice - 2Ch 1:7-10. His upbringing was to die for....

How God keeps things simple; 1 Thessalonians 5:12-22
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/14/2008 4:09am)
Among the first epistles the Apostle Paul wrote was the one to the church at Thessalonica. In many respects, if a believer wanted to know the "bread and butter" of the Christian faith, the best place to look for details would be 1st Thessalonians. The fifth chapter of 1st Thessalonians is one of the most unique in all the New Testament. Starting in verse 12 and continuing through verse 22 is a listing of what could be viewed as Christian conduct or instructions for living in God's will. In context, this concluding section of 1st Thessalonians comes after a very lengthy and detailed discussion of various aspects of the hope. The fourth chapter gave information on what many of us call the "rapture" of the church. The fifth chapter starts with a discussion of the "day of the Lord". Verse 11 of chapter five urges all believers to comfort, encourage and edify each other. Starting from this point, verse 12 begins with the word "and", which means it is a continuation of the general thought of what preceded. So, this concluding section in 1st Thessalonians can really be viewed in light of further information concerning comfort, encouragement and edification of...

How To Be Ordained?
Posted by:  open1797   (Posted: 12/10/2008 4:19pm)
Ordination - How? What does it mean to be ordained for the ministry? And who qualifies? Answer... To be ordained is the public acknowledging by the church that is lead by the Holy Spirit in recognizing God's call upon a candidate for the capacity of ministering the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God's calling to the preaching ministry of the gospel places that individual under the process of examination by the church that leads to ordination (1 Tim. 3:6; 5:22;) and concludes in that examination that the individual is indeed called by God and has demonstrated that they are able to provide leadership for the church. It must be determined that they are Scriptural in Faith and Spiritual in Faithfulness. This determination must be provided by the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:2) The act of ordination is performed in the presence of the Church by virtue of the symbolic laying on of hands on the candidate for the ministry. At which point and time, the candidate assumes full responsibility of their God ordained capacity for the ministry. The principle of laying on of hands is a scriptural act of identification and accreditation and was practiced by New Testament...

hard times
Posted by:  repentence101   (Posted: 12/10/2008 4:32am)
Hard Times During this time of year, it is really hard to have what it is needed to get through the Christmas Season. It seems like every time I turn on the television there is just more depressing news report. Yet this year seems to be even hard than years past. The economy is in ruin, unemployment in climbing ever higher every day, and Wall Street has created a new class of poor; white collar poor. What are the American people going to do in this new economic crisis's? This is something we has a nation have not know sense the great depression or 1974, you take your pick. What ever the case, we have become a nation of over spending, self indulging its all about me and ps3 violent video game generation. Our children have become self absorbed, I don't have to respect anyone unless they respect me first. [Matt 24: 12- Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold,]. So what does that leave for the rest of us, to hold tight to our faith and wait for the One who has called us by his name. However, like I have written before...

Called To Preach... How To Know For Sure?
Posted by:  open1797   (Posted: 12/09/2008 6:07am)
Called To Preach Or Teach? How Can One Know For Sure? The Preacher... Who are they? And What has God called them to do? First and foremost, the preacher will have experienced the new birth and will be walking in a determined dependence upon the indwelling Holy Spirit. Secondly, The preacher is an evangelist in their teaching and preaching and reaching. Actually, the New Testament presents preachers as evangelist in spirit (2 Timothy 4:5). Thirdly, The preacher is gifted to preach and teach the Word of God. They are concerned with leading people to Christ and Christians to maturity. They know how to do it and does it (1 Timothy 3:6). Fourthly, The preacher remains engaged in a systematic and structured study of God's Word (2 Timothy 2:15). How Can one know for sure that God has called them to be a preacher of His Gospel? Great Question! The Biblical Answer Is: God's calling becomes the chief pre-occupation of your thinking and conversation. You just can't shrug it away (Jeremiah 20:9). If you sense that God has called you to be a preacher, seek counsel from your pastor and other experienced and seasoned preachers. Seek the face of God...

Congratulations; You've been named an Ambassador!
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/06/2008 2:31am)
"Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart." 2 Corinthians 4:1 NKJV What is the "ministry" this verse speaks of? Is it the particular denomination or group we belong to or fellowship with on a regular basis? Is it one of the multitude of "ministries" named after a high profile preacher, evangelist or musician? Perhaps it is the function of visiting the sick or elderly. Or is it the act of setting up tea and cookies for the Wednesday evening prayer meeting. These are certainly all various usages of the word "ministry", but I don't think any of them pertain to this verse in 2 Corinthians. The ministry we have received, just as we received God's mercy, is described for us in 2 Corinthians 5:18 where it states plainly: "Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation." That which defines our ministry is RECONCILIATION. Everything that God did in Christ was with a view to the restoration of the relationship of peace which had been disturbed in Adam. Verse and 19 shows us the simplicity and beauty...

How do u re-enter the pulpit after a long break?
Posted by:  micah409   (Posted: 12/05/2008 5:45am)
After a long absence from teaching and preaching the word, where do you find the self-confidence to return? For the past two years I have been sitting in the back row waiting to be called to preach again. I'll briefly outline what I think happened, I had been absent from my local church for about 3 months no specific reason just needed to seek Gods face to know if I was supposed to be at this church. You see I had become dissatified and complaining about the elders direction for the church and the work of god. I felt it lacked flexibilty in many areas one eg. in the finances, the church felt that you pay tithes and offering if you want to, this was not my understanding and I made it known, concerts were held where performers were not paid or given a gift because it was for the work of God and they should be willing to receive the vision that their gift was given freely from God so it should also be used freely, this and many other things nagged at me. My remedy to this was not to attend and find another church but as always...

Why the Seven Deadly Sins Aren't So Deadly Afterall
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 12/02/2008 1:39am)
In Proverbs 6:16-19 there is a list of 7 things which the Lord hates and are an abomination Him: 1. A proud look 2. A lying tongue 3. Hands that shed innocent blood 4. A heart that devises wicked plans 5. Feet that are swift in running to evil 6. A false witness who speaks lies 7. One who sows discord among brethren These are definitive things which the Lord God Almighty HATES, despises and treats as an abomination. Please notice how except for the first one, they all deal with things manifested toward others. The Lord does not think highly of thoughts, intents or actions which divide, hurt or destroy His people. God is indeed interested in qualities reflecting personal integrity and character, but the things which really arouse his wrath are those which constitute an attack on His beloved. Theology teaches that there are supposedly "7 deadly sins". These well known sins are not specifically mentioned together as a list anywhere in the Bible. They are mentioned individually many times throughout the Bible, but as a collective unit. Thus, to attach a name on this list is nothing more than developing a theology. Here are the so called...

An Engineer Analyzing Christianity
Posted by:  peterfrancis   (Posted: 12/01/2008 6:28pm)
An Engineer Analyzes Christianity Most engineers will reduce a complex topic into its simplest parts in order to understand the whole. They would ask - what does this machine do and why does it do it? What parts are necessary for its operation and what parts can be discarded. The machine's operation and purpose must bend to good logic. It must make good sense in its simplest form. I often think of God as a good engineer. He wrote the laws of physics. He spun the stars to show us His power. He designed the birds and flowers to show us his beauty. He designed the millions of systems and subsystems that make up the human body. He wrote a computer program that would write new programs so creation would evolve with time. First I must accept on good evidence that God is love. This is logical. When there is love there is growth between me and my neighbor. When we love there is growth between a man and a women. When there is love there is growth between nations. (When there is greed and hatred there is destruction as well as poor health.) Actually, it has been shown by...

The "spirit of the law" vs. the "letter of the law"
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 11/30/2008 11:22pm)
We live in a time where people wish to make everything cut and dry and absolute. We live in a time where the fine lines which separate truth from error, good from bad and a whole host of other issues are blurred and difficult to locate. There are some things in God's Word which are absolutely cut and dry. There are many other things, though, which cannot be looked upon in this way due to changes in Biblical application due to either administration or cultur changes. Things stated in the absolute during one period of Biblical history cannot be automatically and absolutely applied to every period of history. For instance, God gave Moses a set of laws regarding everything from A to Z. The detail in The Law is intricate and in many instances directly related to the specifics at the time it was given. Yet, there are also vast sections of the law which are general and would apply at any time to anyone wanting to live righteously. The law was given to once and for all make known what sin is and correspondingly show how to live in a righteous manner. If the law, as given to Moses,...

The pivotal moment in our lives, the decision to follow Jesus
Posted by:  blessings2you   (Posted: 11/29/2008 4:15am)
I believe we all have a date when something of profound importance took place in our lives and should have thus become the standard for measuring how our life has progressed and where our life really began. Perhaps if this date is looked upon as a fulcrum, it would be easier explained. A fulcrum is anything that supports something else revolving or depending on it. A fulcrum is basically a hinge or a pivot. Thus, the date we are discussing represents the point our entire life pivots or hinges on. When we hear someone say that this is a "pivotal" time in history, it may or may not actually be that dramatic. But, when we say that on such and such a date, our life changed; that date is the pivot point or fulcrum of our life. What is your personal pivot point? Do you even know when it was and what went on? I believe it is a good thing to know, keep in remembrance and somewhat recognize when it comes up each year. When Jesus Christ truly enters our LIFE, it is a day unlike any other. Many people claim to "know the Lord" and have since they...

With All Your Heart
Posted by:  bubbavela   (Posted: 11/26/2008 6:48am)
Have you ever been consumed by something? My wife wants to know " Why do I have this obsession with writing this blog?" She ask, "What makes me such an authority?" I am not an authority. As my mother use to say about my oldest son "I am just a little guy trying to make it in this world." Still it brings us back to this one thing I can't get past, I have these revelations that just keep coming to me. What can I do. I am laying here, its 2:30 in the morning and all these thoughts and questions keep going through my head, why this, why that. Then scriptures just start answering all these questions. This morning something my pastor said while we were discussing "The Parable of The Lost Son," came to my mind. He said "What if its not about the youngest son, the one who runs off, what if its about the one left behind."Everyone knows the story. Here we have this young man who reaches an age where he decides that he wants to be free. He Says " Father I want my inheritance now, I want to go out on my own...

LOVE IS PATIENT
Posted by:  prestonpittman   (Posted: 11/25/2008 11:44am)
Patience comes into the Christian by grace, through the Holy Spirit. It is the fruit of Gods Love, now abiding in us, as a result of our decision to Trust in and Rely upon Him. This Patience is developed, over time through suffering and sorrow. As I said earlier in our study of Love, God "is" LOVE (it is the only thing in the universe that He did not create) and therefore patience is simply, one of His attributes, a part of His nature. He (GOD) is patient, and cannot be otherwise. What does it mean that God is patient? When we look through the whole (entire) bible and sum up all the Gods nature, it appears that it is the power of God over Himself. God's patience with Himself is even greater than His patience with His creations (you and I). The bible says that, "The Lord is slow to anger," and then it says, "and great in power." This suggests that God's patience towards His creatures is His power over Himself. Look at the fallen condition of this world (again). What Human Being would not have VAPORIZED everything for having his creation turned so far away from him?...

Posted by:  bubbavela   (Posted: 11/25/2008 4:45am)
Listen brothers who have been called. Let us look upon our leader Jesus Christ. He is more than worthy enough to be our leader. By being the ones created, let us offer praise to our creator. When The Holy Spirit speaks to you today, do not ignore Him, as did those who Moses led through the desert. They angered our Lord through their lack of faith in Him and had to endure His wrath. So my brothers take notice that none of us lose heart, instead encourage each other daily, so none of us be tricked by the evil one. We are brothers of Jesus, as long as we are steadfast in our belief until the end. Moses also preached the word of God, yet those who followed him, did not turn their learning's into faith. Since we have a Teacher that is from heaven let us continue our beliefs through faith, because our Teacher was made to suffer as we do. Yet He is without sin. Let us be confident that we will enter the heavens because of the Grace we received through His efforts. Let us not allow the devil to discourage us from our faith. When Jesus...

He Brews Us Through Obedience
Posted by:  bubbavela   (Posted: 11/23/2008 6:28am)
Hebrew 12: 2 Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. We must look upon our Lord and never stop. Keeping fixed on the ways that He has given us to reach our Salvation. Our Faith is brewed into us through the works and pains that He endured. We are able to a have a complete understanding of how our Lord always provides, always protects, because of the awesome love that he displayed in not only His life but also ours. He has done this not for His sake, not for our Fathers sake, but for the joy it brought Him for our sake. Once he had completed His task while being here with us, He sits waiting for our arrival in the Heavens. (Side note here: This is the reason I was born into this world. To show you how our Lord works in your life through discipline and joy, to bring you to a more perfect and complete form. For our Lord and savior Jesus Christ). 4...

He Brews Faith Into Us

Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith Abel, By faith Enoch, By faith Noah, By faith Abraham, By faith Isaac, By faith Jacob, By faith Joseph, By faith Moses, 32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. 37 They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated- 38 the world was...

He Brew Us Clean

Hebrews 8: 10 This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. 11 No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,'because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. 12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more." Praise God, For He has removed any obstacle that could interfere with us "Knowing the Lord" Not only Has He put His laws in our minds, but He also wrote them in our hearts. Then He forgives us of our sins and wickedness. Hebrews 9: 11 When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his...

He Brews Into Us Christianity
Posted by:  bubbavela   (Posted: 11/16/2008 6:50am)
Hebrews 3: 1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Listen brothers who have been called to heaven let us look upon our leader Jesus Christ. 3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who hath builded the house hath more honour than the house. Jesus has been given so much more than worthiness to be our leader, just as the person that builds the house is more worthy than the house. Let us just say that by being the ones created, we are less worthy than him who created us. 7
