“We are adopting an eleven year old girl and after a full year of paperwork and dealing with state governments and adoption teams and workers, we finally get to begin visits and phone calls with her. Unfortunately, she had been in two failed adoptive placements before and she is very nervous. Then the adoption team wasn't going to tell her about the adoption until closer to the time we were to visit, however, a young girl at the swimming pool told her instead. We need prayer that our visits will go smoothly, our travel will be safe, and that our new daughter will find the peace she needs to make it through the visits and phone calls before she can move in with us. thanks, Erin and Jerry”

The story is sad because her parents divorced (back in Italy where she was born), and, though not sure, the incident might have brought the parents apart, but not because of malice, I don't know all details, but I know that the girl, the woman if she is to be found alive or the parents if they are to receive a closure related to her disappearance it might bring them together again. “I am making a quick post this evening with an urgent call for prayer. My brother's father - in - law is at the point of death. He has had some kind of blood disorder with a kidney disorder that there is not a cure. He has been a Christian for years. An Elder in the church, a preacher and a pastor. A great man. It would appear that unless God steps in he will make his journey home. He may leave by the end of this week or by the end of the month, but he will leave for sure unless God cures him. “My sister had a most unique accident several months ago. A coconut dropped on her right eye as she was clearing her garden. “My nephew recently had his nose replaced. He is 16 now and was born without any support for his nose. The first surgery when he was about 5 went extremely well, but last year he broke the bone in his nose and it died. A few weeks ago he went in and had a new one made from another one of his ribs. Everything was healing as planned till today when he started to have a lot of pain inside the nose. He is going back to the surgeon on Tues. 6/17/08 at 8 am. Please pray that the problem will be something simple and not require any more major surgery. He and his parents along with gma and I are scheduled to fly to Seattle this weekend.
