4whirledpeas posted:

My 6yr old boy came up to me while I was on the computer. Whispering, as not to wake his daddy from his 10min nap, Mom, when I grow up I want to ride those two wheel things that we saw in the bike shop. I whispered back Like daddys motorcycle? Which is a softail Harley. He said No, like the red one we saw that you said I couldnt ride. Raising my voice a little higher than a whisper I said You are not allowed to ride a krotch rocket those are very dangerous He said in a voice a little higher than a whisper but still lower than mine, Ill take the rockets off and just make it a krotch so it wont be so fast. His daddy totally awake and looking at me like see what you started and rolling his eyes. I was full face red...

LEAVE THE LEAVES

4whirledpeas posted:

A piece of note paper found with this written on it:1 John 1:7 Genesis 3:113 We are master concealers. God is not as concerned about sin as he is to our response to that sin. Pimple storyWe as Christians Are Concealers of insecurities, of sin ect. Reactions to sin are: Shame, Secrecy, Silence. Open the doors for God to enter in. You can not conceal things from God. When you conceal things you hide from restoration, confrontation ,reformation, redemption. The longer you hide your junk the bigger it grows. The only thing that CAN cover us is The Blood of Jesus Christ. If we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship. Leave the leaves; being fake , come to God with your sins, so He can free us, He wants to let us be free. Power of the Blood. If we leave the leaves...

Secret Disciples

4whirledpeas posted:

Joseph of Arimathea and NicodemusThey are mentioned in John, and Joseph of Arimathea is mentioned in the other 3 gospels as well. If you look at what these men did to get Jesus body and all the money they spent to prepare His body for burial, you cant help but be a little envious. When I look at the account of these men I see them treating Jesus like He was their own son. Yes they are Jesus secret disciples, and rise to the occasion being used to fulfill Messianic prophecy. At first glance they seem kind of cowardly and little bit slow in acting out their faith, almost too late if you will. As many times as I read the story and heard it taught Joseph and Nicodemus were always skimmed over like no bodys. There are many who are like these disciples. They are definitely not poor, nor...

4whirledpeas posted:

No matter what we feel like if we begin to Praise Him, who is Worthy regardless of the situation we are currently in, it is like medicine to our SpiritSoulBody. As I go through and read some of your awesome blogs I am moved to Praise Him. My Spirit wants to shout from my innermost being how magnificent He is. His Word is living and moving. There are numerous scriptures that spark a song that leads to praise and right into His Presence. Amazing, HIS BLOOD soaked cloak of righteousness that is upon us once we receive HIM, allowing us into the most Holy Place, where we can see Him face to Face. HIS WORD. For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty Saviour. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm your fears. He will rejoice over you...
