Needing Prayer ASAP

allansangel posted:

Hi everyone,I know I could write this as a prayer request, but I needed to reach as many faith strong Christians as possible as soon as possible! My best friends mom, (been a mom to me for the past I dont know how many years)has been recently placed in the hospital for a major heart attack. she has been told she has 3 major blockages, 2 @ 100% and one at 89% she went in for a heart cath, and was told there was nothing humanly possible they could do, to operate would kill her. now she is told that out of the 4 heart ventricals only one is working and that is at 75% and wont last much longer. 3 of the 4 are completely dead. The doctors are sending her home, to die. This is what they told the family. There is a chance she could come home...

allansangel posted:

Brand New Year, Brand New Spiritual You! Happy New Year everyone, My prayer is that God not only blessed you coming in the new year, but will continue throughout the year! Being as the new year has started, lets talk about a brand new year, a brand new spiritual you.As you begin this new year, let begin with key points to start a brand new spiritual life. *Reading Gods word! This is the key to Christian living, God provided for us all we need to grow, and mature as full grown Christians.*Study! Study is the essential for growing in maturity. If you dont study how are we to pass our tests and trials?*Prayer! Prayer is the hotline between you and God! If you do not pray, God can not help you as much as He would like to. *Fellowship! Fellowship is the means of study, reading, prayer, and talking to...

Christmas Reflection, Presently

allansangel posted:

Christmas Reflection, Presently Merry Christmas! Do you know that most all the people in the world will celebrate some form or another of Christmas, but most do not know the real reason behind it? I personally dont know much of other cultures and their views of Christmas, but I will focus only on the main Christmas of Christs birth.Just as the picture states : Jesus is the reason for the season. Plain, simple, yet... powerful! Powerful for the reason, that most people are trained as children to look for Santa Claus. Ok sure its great to have a belief, I do not discount a belief in anyone, young or old. But remember, Jesus wants only you to believe in and on Him. Lets look at this another way, what if Jesus had never been born? If we look in the old testament, we see that the only way to atone...

What Family Means, Is Love

allansangel posted:

What family means, is love Hi all,Family, what does this word mean to you? To me it means a group of people who should (but sometimes dont) love you beyond the ability to understand loves capacity. The only way we receive this unconditional love is through God Himself. Does your family make you feel as if you are an important person in their lives? Probably not. We as human beings, living on this earth, have not the capacity of love as God does for us. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the only ones able to love you with the capacity of love that boggles the mind. People dont have the ability to love on another like this, due to the strife and oppression on this earth. (but good news, your heart can! It is a renewed part of you by Jesus!)We were accepted into Gods family by Jesus...

Renewed Spirit, Renewed Life

allansangel posted:

RENEWED SPIRIT, RENEWED LIFE As a new creature in Christ, we have a brand new lease on life. Most all saved Christians already know this, but there a few things we tend to forget as we walk in the light of the word. When Jesus washed us clean He said He would not leave or forsake us, and that no one can take what is His. (paraphrased)Once we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savoir there is no way to go back to the old self that was condemned to die, UNLESS we denounce our salvation. Once we are saved, we are saved for the remainder of our days, sure we may have sin we have committed after our salvation, who doesnt? Once washed in the blood we are marked for heaven, and thats it! Now allow me to explain: The whole process of salvation is so simply explained, but a...

Trial And Error; Solutions And Remedies

allansangel posted:

Trials and Errors; Solutions and Remedies Ever go through life thinking why me? When what we should be thinking about is why not me? If we go through everyday life thinking why me all the time, that means we are asking for trouble for other people. That is NOT the Christian way. We as children of God should always try to keep others from being hurt and pursued by the devil. So the question we should be asking is why not me? If we are asking why not me? we are opening a way for the enemy to step away from others, but more importantly, we are opening the doors of heaven above to shower us with a blessing! Now thats the way to go dont you think? In this life time, we will face trials and errors. Jesus said to us in the bible, we would have troubles, but...

Questioning Faith? Or Questioning Character?

allansangel posted:

Questioning faith? Questioning character? Good Day!Today I am instructed to write about: Questioning faith? Questioning character? Have you ever stopped and thought What I am doing? Then realized you lapsed in your faith? God knows we all will backslide, lose faith, and question our faith. This is why He sent Jesus to redeem us, and in doing so, Jesus is able to forgive us if we are repentant, even long beyond our salvation. (Our salvation is defined as the day we repented and came to Jesus via sinners prayer) What about the questions we possess of our characters? Are we a good egg? Are we showing people Jesus in us? Are there others moved for Jesus by talking to us? (and many more questions we have all asked ourselves) Bottom line we all at on point or another asked ourselves, (in one form or another) What does my character show...

Calling All Christians, True Callings!

allansangel posted:

CALLING ALL CHRISTIANS, TRUE CALLING!Ever wonder what your true calling of God is? First we need to pray about it, then we need to follow what instructions we received when we prayed about our true calling as Gods children! First we need to make sure we are lined up with the Lord, and to do this, we must first repent of our sins. sure you are saved, and been forgiven. But in order to maintain our walk in Gods light, we must repent for our sins, anything we may do, think, or say could enable a foot hold for the enemy, so we must ask for forgiveness each and everyday, before we get out of bed, we should do this and every night before we got to sleep. :) After we repent, we need to pray and spend time with God and meditate on what we are given, spiritual gifts,...

Guide Me On Your Way Through, Please?

allansangel posted:

Fellow brothers and sisters,Today I want to write to you on guidance! In Isaiah 56:11 it says The Lord shall guide thee continually and satisfy thy soul Every Christian should be asking God to guide them along the path of rightiousness, and guide their hearts to match their walk.If you are doing the good works of the Lord, but your heart is not lined up with the word, its pointless and useless works. Jesus instructed that the fruits be for the honour and glory of the Father and said that works without faith are dead and useless.(just to paraphrase)If we are walking with Jesus, we should be doing as He would do. Jesus never went to do anything without first praying for it, and He put His entire heart, body, and soul into all that God asked of Him.How do we do this? Simple, one, we begin with prayer, asking God...
