This morning as I was eating my breakfast, I thought about how we dont always give thanks to God for our food and providing for all our needs anymore. In this worlds society, we dont thank God for any blessings we have in our life anymore, because we have worked for what we have. We have become self reliant on ourselves, our knowledge, and what we have invented to sustain us. We really dont need God anymore. We can do this life on our own strengths and provide for ourselves now. We have even setup our governments and donation organizations that we can help others with money, food, and other necessities of life - things God wanted His church to provide in the past. Our society has become self sufficient. We really dont need God anymore, so we have kicked God out of our lives. Now that we have become so self sustaining as a society on our own, we have also made up our own moral rules of what is right and wrong, so that we are no longer restricted by Gods ways and rules. Like that old song indicates - "I did it my way", is what we all strive for.
Because of all this - us not needing God anymore - now God doesnt have any need for us either.
