Have you noticed that anyone with any kind of a religion in an after life believes they are going to heaven? All religions that have some sort of a higher being believe in some sort of a heaven and/or hell. So do people have a belief in a certain religion because they know there must be more to this life than what they see? They believe there must be something after this life. If anyone believes in an after life, then they want to be in the good part of that after life. Some people believe the after life is just a big pool of spirits floating around together somewhere out there in the heavens and they believe there is no bad or good place, no actual heaven or hell, just a spiritual realm where they exist after this life. This is their form of going to heaven and this belief doesnt require a god or certain morals to live by. Then there are the religions that believe in some sort of heaven and hell. All these people will have many different beliefs, but will believe that they personally are going to heaven. Every religious person will have made up in their own mind what it actually takes to get to that heaven. You will find that everyone believes according to their own interpretation and experiences. It is actually their experiences and the need to believe that they are eternally safe that determine what they will accept to believe. Everyone must have the comfort to feel safe, secure, and know they will go to heaven. Everyone that has a belief in a heaven and/or hell, must also believe that they are going to their version of heaven. So, their beliefs are based around that need to know for sure that they are going to heaven. Everyone that believes in a heaven and/or hell after life, must also have an eternal security in their mind already. Why, because the nature of the persons spirit and soul demands it to be so. Once in awhile you can find a person that questions their heavenly destination, because of some sort of new revelation they have had, but they will quickly change their thinking to accommodate for this new revelation, or they will totally fight against the new revelation and dismiss it to feel good about themselves again. Try to find a person that truly believes in a heaven that doesnt already believe they are going to that heaven. If they truly believe in a heaven (after life), then they will for certain believe they are going there - because their spirit and soul requires it to be so. Blessings, Mike
