Today, I read the book Leaf Man to my class. At one point of the story, the author writes Well, a Leaf Mans got to go where the wind blows. So I have to ask myself, am I a leaf person? Do I dance about in the wind and get carried first this way and then another way? Or am I rooted and grounded upon Gods Word? Are my eyes upon Him or are they looking everywhere else except upon him?
You know, while I am notorious for wandering about in the physical world, I do not
want the same to be true in the spiritual sense. I want to be firmly planted and immovable in Him so that the no matter how fierce the storm, I cannot be move.
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; Ephesians 4:14
