We have just pushed out some changes to the "My Blogs" page that will resolve a large percentage of the feature requests we have received over the last two years, that have resolved around the management of blogs.
There have been four major updates:
First up is that we have updated the form when you process the removal of your own blogs. We neglected to update it to our updated template way back when we last updated our website design. We have also made it a bit easier to understand what you are doing when the page presents itself.
Secondly, we have allowed the ability to remove incomplete blogs that are listed. Without a doubt one of our most requested features over the last two years. As most of our bloggers have discovered, in those times when you start writing a blog and than decide to not press the final publish button, it gets listed as incomplete - which is good and how it should work. However we have never allowed you to remove those incomplete blog listings from your blogs listing. Now you can. Once you do, they are gone-gone-gone. No getting them back.
Third, we have reworked the way that you remove blogs from public viewing. While we still call it "delete" what it in essence does is remove the blog from being viewed. Should you find a need to remove one of your published blogs from being viewed you can now delete it and have it removed from the website.
Fourth, you can now re-activate any blog that you delete (read above point) so it will once again be viewable. No form to explain why you are re-activating the blog, simply click the icon/link and it will re-activate the blog and be viewable.
