English: Whew, typing that title took enough out of me that I dont know how much of a blog I can write now.
I shall do my best, with Gods Help.
Lets see -- Ive been MIA from here for over a week now. EEK I say!
Why you ask?
Well...
We moved into a NEW HOME, all the amazing glory to God! So, when you move it certainly takes a while for your cable and internet to get hooked back up. Yet, that is a blessing too, because then I was able to focus on unpacking and sorting and arranging my home. Yup, I choose to see the positive.
About the blessing of the new home -- you see, less than a year ago we were not approved for a home loan on a home that I "thought" I "really" wanted. Sure, it had a "few things" that I would have liked done a bit differently, like dark wood instead of light wood in the kitchen, but hey, who am I to think Im an interior designer?
I was "devastated" with the news of the lack of approval. Yet, that was a blessing in a HUGE way. The house would have been way too much payment for us and left us without much money for the necessities of life, such as food and gas. Again, now I can truly see the positive in that situation. Funny about hindsight that way, huh?
Unbeknownst to me, my hubby started chipping away at the things that had been instrumental in the loan disapproval. I just kept chugging along, remembering all the blessings that God had given me already and remembering that as a child of God, I am not to bemoan my state of life.
So, nine months later, our lease was up on the home we were renting and it was time for a decision. We prayed about it, and gave notice to our landlord, without even really having another place to live lined up. Talk about stepping out of the boat into the water! Next thing I know, my hubby is telling me that there is a home that we are going to buy. I was all like (hehe), "Sure thing honey, and Ive got a bazillion acres of ocean front property in Arizona."
Oh me of little faith.
Less than 45 days later, we moved into our new home, and when I say "new" I mean new, as in brand new, just built, no one elses germies around! Ive never lived in a brand new home in all my life. Wow.
And the best part -- the mortgage is only $100 more a month than we were paying for rent. Wow, wow and WOW!
Perhaps the miracles that God performs every day in our current time arent exactly like those of the Old Testament, like the parting of the Red Sea, but these miracles of today show His Glory just the same.
And again, WOW.
Father, Youre Amazing.
And to think, 20 years ago I was living out of my Volkswagen Beetle. All things in His Time.
