There is much debate among Christians as to when Satan actually rebelled and was kicked out of the third heaven. In Scripture, among mankind, we first see Satans presence in the garden of Eden.
Presently he is the prince of the power of the air and the ruler of this world.
Since Adam, Satan has relentlessly struggled, in all deception, for the hearts and souls of mankind. Warring has been going on in the spiritual world between elect angels and fallen angels for man since the beginning and continues to this day. Satan desiring to take from God His cherished creation. This supernatural war will continue until the Lord returns.
Many years ago Satan worked out a deal with God to test man. Satan asks God, "Does Job fear God for nothing? Have you not put a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? "
Satan continues with a challenge to God. "Stretch out Your hand and touch all he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face! "
Satan is always devising a scheme. He did concerning Job and he will again concerning man as the time draws nearer.
I can hear him now bargaining with God. "Everyone knows your Church is sealed by Your Holy Spirit and cannot be convinced to worship me. Take away your cover and all mankind will bow their knee and worship me."
Satan, not realizing he is playing into Gods hand once again, is thrilled when God agrees.
God, before time began, made the plans for the coming seven years. The years known as the 70th week of Daniels prophecy. They are written on a scroll, sealed with seven seals, and in His possession until the appointed time.
So, on the appointed day, God will remove the Church from earth.
Then Satan will send his agent in as a man of love and a man of peace. His battle plan in the opening phase of the campaign is to win man over through a facade of goodness and kindness. He will work wonders in their sight. Even bringing peace and prosperity to a hostile and economically collapsed world.
This part of Gods plan is revealed through the opening of the first seal of the scroll. It shows a rider coming on the scene on a white horse. He is carrying a bow but has no arrows. This rider is Satans agent. The one we refer to as the anti-Christ. In the beginning he will go forth winning hearts and souls through peace and good will.
He knows the Church is gone and he expects there will be little resistance.
However, God has another plan. The Church is gone from earth but His Holy Spirit remains. The seventh week has begun and God turns His attention to His first elect people again. He calls forth 144,000 and anoints them for His service. The gospel of the kingdom is preached to the entire world and multitudes are saved.
Satan sees his plan of peace is not working the way he wishes, thus he changes his direction and implements his contingency plan.
This plan is revealed through the opening of the second seal of the scroll. A rider on a fiery red horse. This represents war.
The first trumpet sounds and War breaks out on earth. From here it only grows worse and worse with each blast of the remaining six trumpets and each out pouring of the seven vials of the wrath of God.
Conditions get so bad on earth that the Lord has to return to keep man from totally destroying himself.
JESUS comes to earth, subdues the forces of evil and establishes His Kingdom on earth. A kingdom of peace, in a covenant of peace, where He will rule with a rod of iron.
For a thousand years all creation will live in peace and harmony with each other. Man with man, beast with beast, and man with beast.
