just like darkness disappears in the presence of light so too does anger when love overcomes. for in the absence of the dark, when the truth is exposed, and what is seen is what has been, love must overtake every other desire or redemption could never be. we can overcome the us that evil holds captive as long as we allow our Lord to be. in truth the reason we are all here is not to gather wealth and prestige, but to walk with our Lord in the coolness of the day. regardless of what the world tells us, its taking guidance from Him everyday that keeps the evil at bay. we can disrupt, destroy, and even curse the ground we walk on, yet His love remains. once we gather in the light with Him, the good in the light will overcome the evil and the darkness.
so many struggle to come to Him simply because of the person they become. our heart tells on us every time we look into the mirror of our minds and see the we that we are. i know the world always tries to make it about something else, but it doesnt matter what we are or who we want to be. it only matters what we become after He shines His light on what we have done. comparing ourselves to others and placing the blame on them is itself the essence of darkness.
John 21:
21 When Peter saw him, he asked, Lord, what about him?
22 Jesus answered, If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.
what matters the most, when our path comes to its end, is the love thats found inside of us. our troubles on this earth is merely the tool that Jesus uses to bring us to that love. He never grades us on our yesterdays He only looks at what we have become today, after we have taken that walk with Him and He has shown us the way.
John 16:
33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
in truth the world can tell Him nothing about who we are, that is something we must do. Jesus is the God of everything, He has walked in the world and He knows the evil thats in it and the only thing that can keep us from Him is our reluctance to make that walk everyday. He did not come into this world so we could be judged for what we have done. He came to show us how to live and how to love.
John 3:
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
just like each of us loves our son so too does God love us because we too are His son. He made Himself a Father to all of us by becoming one of us. our worldly riches matters not, in truth the more the riches the wider the gap that stands between. you see its not about the darkness, for the mere presence of light itself cast a shadow on the darkness. we must first allow the light to shine upon the darkness before we can see.
John 1:
5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.
its not until we walk with Him in the light that we can understand what weve done in the darkness. that is the reason the world tries to keep you from taking those daily walks with Him. everything that is of this world, even the very flesh that consumes us, drives the wedge. whether we allow it to keep us from Him is the key. we all have a voice that cries out to us, to take that walk with Him, and that voice inside of us, is indeed the voice of Him.
