I have read and been told that a very prominent teaching of Islam is God has no Son. Jesus Christ was only a prophet, in their religion. Not the greatest of prophets, according to their teachings. Was/is Jesus Christ who He Himself claimed to be, and also His apostles testified and witnessed Him to be? Of all the religions that I know of, at present, only within Christianity, is the acceptance of Jesus Christ, as the Son of the Living God, and as the Saviour of mankind from their sins. Sin was/is atoned for, the propitiation for sin provided, only through the blood that Jesus Christ shed, as He bled and died upon the cross at calvary. God provided salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. Christianity 101, is that there is no other means of atonement, of forgiveness and reconciliation for sin, apart from in, and through Jesus Christ. This is central to Christianity, non-debatable. God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, and that is Jesus Christ. God raised Him from the dead. He was seen alive of over 500 eyewitnesses. He ascended to heaven, and is now making intercession for those of His who trust and abide in Him. He is going to return, as He also promised. The scribes, pharisees, sadduces, and religious leaders of His day, rejected who He was. It was not the poor, the blind, the deaf, the maimed, the outcast sinners of His day, who rejected and condemned Him, it was those who were the most prominent in religion, in politics, who did. In John 8:48, He was accused of being a Samaritan, and one who had a demon. Samaritans were a people of mixed race, despised of their Jewish relations. This they accused Jesus Christ of being. And of one who had a demon. In Luke 11:15, it was spoken of those religious leaders that He cast out demons, through Beelzebub, prince of demons. In Matthew 26:65, it was religions greatest of rulers at that time and place, who said that Jesus Christ had spoken and was guilty of blasphemy. This same group of religious leaders would later, in Matthew 27:63 call the Lord Jesus Christ a deceiver. What does your religion, call Jesus Christ? Within Christianity, we are mocked and laughed at, because of our divisions and our lifestyles. We have absolutely no reason to boast or to point an accusing finger at any of those outside of Christianity, apart from our righteousness in Jesus Christ. God led the Israelites out of Egypt with a strong arm. With signs and wonders, and miracles. They soon murmured and they turned aside from God. Many, within Christendom today, have done the same. Delivered from bondage with the precious, sinless blood of Jesus the Christ. Signs, wonders, and miracles followed those whom He personally chose and commissioned. Yet, many within Christendom have also turned aside. It is not other religions, or politics and their governments in the world, that have harmed Christianity, and the gospel. It is those who profess, yet do not abide in nor obey the Lord Jesus Christ, that have. These will not escape the judgement seat of Christ. Repentance, belief, obedience, has never been more needed and more necessary. All, in and through, the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. "Kiss the Son", and be real with Him. Psalm Chapter Two. Maranatha. Really. And truly, Believe it. And live it. God Bless.
