English: God destines us to become confirmed to the image of His Son. (Rom.8:29) Paul warns "not to be like the children tossed here and
there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men by craftiness in decietful scheming"; but he
encourages us to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, by speaking the truth of Word in love. (Eph.4:14,15)
Apostle Peter, blesses the believer to multiply the grace and peace by growing in the knowledge of our God and of the Lord and
Savior, Jesus Christ. (2 Pet.1:2)
Paul mentions some are in the babes stage in the church and always looking to be fed; and yet milk not hard food. (1Cor.3:1) Why?
In them the true death of flesh has not occured and the flesh is prompting them to the old nature. They always think about self. A
baby lives to be served and it never serves; always the same testimony, no growth, no victory! They often hurt soon, and is often
jealous. They want attention to them, otherwise baby will cry to get attention. Why their stage is not changing? Because they do
not try themselves to grow, they do not try to study the Word to increase the knowledge of God. A baby changes its stages naturally,
but here it is a born again baby having the knowledge of his or her position, to change, he or she has to wish.
John the Apostle, calls three stages of men in their growth, in respect to grace: (1 John 2:12-14)
The little child: They are the group overcome the babes stage, but become spiritually stagnent. They lie at times and they think it is
good for that situation. (gossip) Some times envious, that, they did not get chances, but some others got opportunity. Some times
they get annoyed if scolded, stop attending the weekly functions and used to be with puffed face. They love to be admired and seek
things that apeal to self. They came to knew thay are forgiven, but reluctant to forgive and they used to revile at times.
If the authority is matured to attend these stages, they can be brought to the healthy stage by loving and caring them to the best.
If they are ignored, they will be put to worse situations in to the hands of enemy; but there is hope, because, faithful is He who called
him. will take authority. For such people, their spiritual muscles will be stronger than a usual believer. i praise God for
such tested people who are shining in His ministry.
Next, the Apostle John calls them, Young man:
Apostle Paul says, I was a child, I used to think, speak and reason as a child; when I became a man I did away with the childish
things. (1Cor.13:11) When a believer study the Word, he sees himself as he see himself in a mirror, and if he is willing to change,
God will give him grace to grow in the knowledge of Him. Thus he will be able to overcome the enemy since the Word of God is
abiding in him. His vision will change, as well as his faith and courage will increase and he will be prepared for the productive
years to come in his life. This is the stage to lift these people to train to serve by mentoring them.
Next, the Apostle John calls the fathers:
This is the mature state in a believer, where he will be productive and enjoying the abundant life. They know God and they will have
spiritual children and will be known as spiritual fathers. He know the peace of God and will be contented under all circumstances.
He looks to the future and believes all things works together for the eternal good. He will be like the tree firmly planted
beside the streams of water and yeilds its fruits in its season and its leaf does not wither in the dry season since it draws from
the underneeth, alike the wise, who built his home upon the rock. He will prosper in all what he does and the law of the Lord will
be his delight. He will meditate the Word day and night and it will not leave from his mouth. Instead of murmer, praise will
be his dialogue and fragrance of love will be produced among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
He will be doing a ministry of reconciliation expecting a reward from Christ Jesus, who died for him to reconcile him with God.
In these last days of peril, above mentioned men of God are mere in numbers in the body of Christ. People are deceived
by the craftiness of the evil one, like Eve deceived by the serpent in the Garden of Eden. Peoples mind are led astray from
the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ. (2Cor.11:3) The way of cross has become the way of business; charity increased
faith decreased; self righteousness is in its pomp, than the righteousness of God. People are reluctant to say, sorry, forgive me!
Dear ones, let us pray earnestly that we do not drift from the way of His ministry; as Paul said, "Therefore let him who thinks he
stands, take heed lest he fall."
Blessings and thanks for prayers,
sonny.
