in truth ive been wanting to write this message since the beginning of the week. in my heart and in my mind i have known what ive wanted to say but when i have tried to come here and let the words escape my fingers the thoughts would be erased. as a man i suppose i fall into a rush of eagerness to be engulfed by our Lord and the more of Him that i receive the more of Him i want to share. sometimes i try to gather in the moment the thoughts that may not survive the test of time, but by God, He will not allow it. i will say this our Lord is God.
Matthew 18:
19 Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.
For if we ask for the Father and Jesus comes to us in His Spirit than the Three come to us as One. in truth the Three are the One. the One who created us, the One who died for us and the One who shows us the way. i know as a man i want to encourage others to seek Him and receive this good news, and sometimes obstacles get in the way. the longer i spend here on earth the more consumed by Him i become. Where as my desires to help others understand His love has now become the focus of all my days. it hurts me to read or hear when others try to attach burdens to those who seek His soul. when teachers of His words start telling us the reasons why little johnny is not good enough to make it to heaven they are no longer giving us His words. When they start teaching us the laws that keep us from reaching the heavens, that is when they begin to hinder us from receiving His Spirit. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, comes to us with a better promise than the one that our forefathers had.
Hebrews 8:
7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.
8 But God found fault with the people and said: The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to my covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord.
10 This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, Know the Lord, because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
our Lord has NO INTENTION of allowing any of those conquerors of the flesh to enter His Kingdom unless they overcome their desires through His love. Our Lord reveals Himself to us one on one. we must spread the good news about who He is and then allow Him to work either through us or through them by His Spirit to remove from them the evil thats inside. If we go to church and they start to tell us the reasons why we are suppose to hate the others or how bad the others are, then God has no part in them, because that isnt the message that He came to deliver. our Lord didnt come to teach us from the mountain that spits out fire, our Lord came to teach us on the Mountain where the blind are given sight, where the deaf can hear, and the poor is given the bread of life, the joyous mountain. yet it seems like everywhere i turn these days there are these mouths that claim to be spreading His words, while hatefulness and damnation spells out of them like their daddy the accuser.
Matthew 23:
1 Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples:
2 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses seat.
3 So you must be careful to do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
4 They tie up heavy, cumbersome loads and put them on other people s shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.
5 Everything they do is done for people to see: They make their phylacteries wide and the tassels on their garments long;
6 they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues;
7 they love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and to be called Rabbi by others.
8 But you are not to be called Rabbi, for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers.
9 And do not call anyone on earth father, for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
10 Nor are you to be called teacher, for you have one Teacher, the Messiah.
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.
12 For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
13 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.
15 Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.
How ironic is it that our Lord tells the teachers of the law that He will be the only teacher to those who seek after Him, but to those who call themselves teachers He will send to them teachers?
Matthew 23;
33 You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?
34 Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.
when our Lord allowed me to see the vision He had for me i had never realized until now what He was asking from me. i knew that He ask me to go out and spread his message to the rocks, and right away i knew that He was speaking of those who were a part of His church. even though i had always struggled with the hierarchy in the churches until today i never understood why. for those of you who has received the good news, i ask you to please share it with the world, and to those of you who has allowed the gates of evil to penatrate your soul, i ask you to forget all the extra notes that others make claims about, and all the other sources for you to study, and know that nothing added nor nothing removed means all the extras that you bring with you weekly.
