It takes hard work to remain close to those we love but it is worth it
I never really considered the fact that God counts all of my footsteps.

English:
I have been a christian for nearly a year and I have had some ups and downs, but my biggest problem has always been what does the Lord have planned for me and what should I be doing with my life. I have tried to serve in many areas and some I really got such a blessing doing and some I just felt it was not my fit or my calling. I have been praying for a very long time Lord where may I serve you what would you have me to do? Today after my study of Gods word I was in meditation and the holy spirt spoke to me and said " Are you willing to do the work?" I was quick to answer yes lord I am willing, but the fact is maybe not. Let me explain, its not that we dont want to do the work its the fact that we dont make time to do the work. I like so many of you get caught up in our daily lives and routines that we dont do the work that our savior commisioned us to do (Mark 16:15) "to preah the Gospel to every living creature". What have you done to obey this commison lately? Are we more concerned with our fellowship with man and all the wordly stuff than actually bringing people to the Lord? Are we just so worried about what the world thinks that we are not willing to step out of our natural habatat to lets say go to a mission field or a prison, a shelter of some kind or even a nursing home? I do understand that our jobs dictate what we can do and where we can go, but if we are willing to give to the lord the free time he will send fruit our way. Even a prayer meeting or bible study in our homes. I just sat and thought about how many opurtunities I have missed by not being more available this past year. I have even missed so many opurtunities to witness and spread the gospel at my job because I was too caught up in the work I was doing instead of taking the time to talk to a coworker. (1 Corinthians 3:14) "If any mans work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward." Do not get me wrong I know everyone may not be a preacher but we can all give of our time and energy and all can answer questions and can talk. We must remember who we are doing this for, its the least we can do while we have time to do it for soon there will be no more time . In closing I ask you to commit to doing more with your free time and work more for Jesus and do what you can for Jesus and the eternal kingdom........God Bless
