Every year on Good Friday my church carries the cross from the church parking lot and walk down Kuhio to Saratoga and then to the beach. As we walk my pastor reminds the people on the street of what Jesus did for all of us. Some people laugh and point fingers and some say God Bless. It is an amazing experience I am happy to do it every year. We do a reenactment on the beach we pray and sometime sing "Lord I lift Your Name on High." On Easter Sunday we have a sunrise service on the beach which is worth getting up early for. There is a canoe that goes out and comes into shore with the bible in it and my pastor says "Jesus is here." The sermon was titled "It is Finished." Jesus said "It is Finished" and then, HE gave up his spirit. I believe it is important to remember these two holidays. I think a lot of people don t think about the true meaning anymore.
