All things new

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave to the apostle John the words of the title to this blog in Revelation. A promise that will be fulfilled. It isn't hard as we look around at the conditions of things on earth to see that things are a mess. Just when we wonder how things could get any worse, low and behold, it does in general, in the world.

A sense of despair and hopelessness will set in, when we focus on the state of things on earth. But, here is this promise our Lord Jesus Christ gave us. He will indeed make all things new, at that appointed time yet future.

Focusing on here and now, will distract His people if they aren't ever mindful of His promise. He has not, will not abandon us. His love is everlasting, and more than enough. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Cause hopelessness. Take away our joy and peace. Cause dissension and confusion. Doubt and despair. Fear.

Our Lord Jesus Christ told us there is only one thing we should fear, and that is God. He alone is able to destroy both body and soul. Many will say we should not fear God. The scripture does not teach that. Jesus Christ Himself told us we should. I just simply believe He meant what He said. In promise, and in warning. Every word He spoke was and is truth. The promises. And the warnings. To leave one out is only going to be a half-truth. Not wise in this day and time.

Personally I don't see this nation, or the world in general, repenting, and turning back to God. The events foretold us in scripture concerning the last days are going to happen. Exactly as foretold. However twisted and spun of those in error. Evil is going to get even worse. And it is happening all around us, where we live as individuals, and in the world. Turning to God in true repentance, through His Son and Lord Jesus Christ, is the only thing that will change the state of things. Yet the message of that and this truth is rejected and not tolerated in our society now. Silenced. Anti-Christ is all around us. And so are all the prophecies foretold concerning.

But so is this, the time fast approaching when He will make all things new. All the former things will pass away. There will be no more of them. God Himself will do this, and no force or power anywhere known to man, or unknown either, will prevent this from happening. Even so. And God bless you all.

So many things in life we don't understand and walk through. But God is God through it all. And Jesus Christ is Lord, through whom we receive Gods Holy Spirit, and our ever-present help.

Love you all and God bless and be near each one.
