My 500th Blog; God's Heart to YOU, His wonderful children

Dear Brothers and Sisters at Christian Blog. I had really wanted to write something extra special for my 500th blog, but I have had a physical set back and must get to the Emergency Room pronto. In light of this, I am submitting what I had done so far and ask for your patience and forgiveness that it is not better than it is. I am sorry that I could not have succeeded in making this all God wanted it to be.

Following is a compilation of Paul's prayers to various churches as recorded in the epistles he wrote. I offer these prayers to you from my heart, just as Paul did to those he addressed them to. May these words bring you joy, comfort and hope; knowing they come straight from God's heart to you:

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Christian Blog.

Grace to you and peace form God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since I heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints. I do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

I pray that you are strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now. I am confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day when Jesus Christ comes.

I pray that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment. I pray that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ. I pray that you are filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short of no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ will also confirm you to the end that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
What thanks can I render to God for you, for all the joy with which I rejoice for your sake before our God. Night and day praying that the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another to all, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.

Therefore I also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power. That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you , making mention of you in my prayers. Praying that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, and that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened; that you my know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance is in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.

This is the power He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. I pray that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.

I pray that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

God bless you and I ask for your prayers for me that whatever is afflicting me is not too serious and can be remedied by a few days in the hospital if need be. You are my family and as such you mean more to me than I could possibly express in words. Please know I will be praying for you that God blesses you with greater and greater spiritual understanding and with His peace and love. Please accept these words directly from my heart: I love you.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life.

Blessings 2 You

Thank you for writing out this wonderful prayer of Paul's.
Please, do not feel bad or sorry or like you failed to do something amazing for your 500th blog. Firstly, because I don't think at all that you did fail, or didn't do something wonderful. Also, because it matters not at all. 500 is just a number. What matters is that you are always giving us something wonderful from the Lord. Something we need to hear.
Dear brother, just as we prayed last night in the chat, I will continue to pray that the Lord will give you healing and strenght. I will also pray that discernment will be given to the physicians attending you.
May you be bathed in the Lord's love and power.

Get well soon, B2Y, and may the God of all, bring comfort and peace to both you and your wife, at this time. Loving Christian greetings, and prayers for you both.

B2Y This is an absolutely beautiful 500th blog! What tool Jesus left us is more powerful than prayer. I love the prayers of Paul. They are elegant and instructive.

I pray God will renew your strength and pour out his peace on you and Blest as He completes the healing he began in you my Brother.

You are indeed a Blessing to all.

In hospital for a few days. Thanks for your prayers. I will write when I can. Thank all of you so much for covering me in God's protection.

Now, my dear brother B2y, you and I are going to have to have a chat about this apologising thing you've got going on! Assuming (and I most certainly do) that the word you have is from the Lord, he doesn't need you apologising for him and neither does the Holy Spirit need your apologies before he smacks us in the head oh, sorry, I mean 'blesses us' by speaking to us through the said vessel aka B2Y! There is no doubt that you are empowered from above to bring us his word for our lives and I praise God for your willingness to be a vessel pressed down, shaken together and running over so that we can grow. This is an extra special blog - it is God's word, and I thank God for your faithfulness in bringing it to us. It seems to me that it all comes down to one thing that we have to do :pray::pray::pray::pray: and then when we've done with that, some more.

What a brother! Getting ready to go to the ER and you are concerned that your message to us may not be enough. It is enough, brother. It is God's Spirit speaking through you, and you have no idea how it will touch some who read it. These prayers of Paul's have touched me deeply. They say much about the attitude that a faithful Christian should have...the same attitude that glows through you, brother.

Get well by the grace of God and come back to us soon. Our prayers are with you.

Father, bless and keep this man, this child of yours, and bring him back to us well and whole, and with much more of Your wisdom and love to share.
