The simplicity of trust and faith

My wife Blest and I were talking last night about how ten years ago, it was totally outside our realm of thinking to envision where and how we would be living now. In fact, at that time the events that took place the remaining months of the year 2001 could not have been foreseen or anticipated.

We talk a lot about things such as trust and faith , throwing these terms around like they are no big deal. But, since none of us knows what tomorrow will bring, the only way to prepare for the future and handle it when it arrives is to manifest utter faith that God will provide and trust that He will guide and direct our way.

None of us mere mortals know what is coming our way ten minutes from now, let alone ten years from now. To squander the present worrying about the future is a gigantic waste of time. Far better it is to make use of opportunities to serve and bless in the present and leave the future in the hands of our loving and all wise God.

God is love and God loves us. If we trust that His love will see us through and place our faith that His love will never let us down, then we can begin to let go of the anxiety worrying about the future unleashes on our hearts and minds. If we can learn that once we have done our best to trust God and have faith in His Word, then we can learn that He will indeed help, guide and take care of us.

When confronted by seemingly hopeless circumstances, that is when we must let God handle things for it will take an all powerful God to do so. God is there and God will never leave us or forsake us. He is our helper, guide and captain of our salvation.

Your last paragraph reminded me of something Alison Stewart (@kiwibird) often says to me.
Let go and let God!
May we all learn to let go of our anxiety and let God handle things for indeed, it does take an all powerful God to do so. He is always there whether we "see" him, "hear" him or "feel" him near us. He will never leave us or forsake us. He is our helper and our deliverer and we must learn to trust him... no matter what!

Amen :) let us lose all anxiety and rejoice in our king - For in every point of our life he is God, one who is sympathetic to our pain, one who will never leave us, our provider and comforter! Glory to God!

You give no clue of your circumstances but leave me, your reader to wonder and draw my own conclusion... I pull upon myself the possibilities... 10 years from now the joyous possiblilty of writing such a grateful and joy filled remembrance. From your pen and from your heart I take today from your yesterday. From your serenity I draw my strength, from your peace I draw my courage and I face the future steadfast in my faith. I will do what I can do and I will expect God to do what only He can do. I praise Him loudly... to you... I whisper... thank you
