Christians are being called

imagine this: you're standing on a street corner in a city that is in a chaotic distress, you see a group of your friends gathered and engaged with evil doers who are trying to lead them down the road to destruction. you approach them with intentions of correcting and awakening them to their plight. suddenly a police force pushes their way into the scene and your friends turn on you. they began to call you a liar and curse you and eventually they start beating you, all spurred on by this policed intrusion. then right before you pass out you left up your head and ask God to please forgive them for what they are doing to you. John 20: 23 If you forgive anyone's sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." I won't deny I have struggled with this verse. my prayer is that my faith will increase me to this level of forgiveness. this scenario I described is already happening in many countries where Christians have been beaten for trying to teach the words that God put into their hearts. I know many of you believe this could never happen in America. many of you believe that we will be protected because of the rights promised us by our country's laws. yet I have seen so many changes in these most recent years and I now live in a country, who has promised not to take away my religious freedoms, tell me my prayers can not be done in a public forum. the leap forward to that above described scene is not that far off. even today Christians are being called all kind of hateful names. the friends you go to dinner with, you work with and you socialize with are being brainwashed by a media that has turned lies into truth and truth into lies. wicked has an agenda and all roads outside the truth lead to death. things have been written so many years ago and warnings have been given. many things described by Jesus are now beginning to happen. do you know that the scene I described for the most part has actually already happened? Stephen an early Christian who roamed the land trying tell his peoples, his peeps if you will, about the destruction that evil had planned for them. when a man named Saul, a soldier of satan, came and brought the approval of death to beckon Stephens demise. realizing what was taking place Stephen looked to the heavens and... Acts 7: 59 While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit." 60 Then he fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep. there standing guard, was the man named Saul sitting there up on his high horse carrying out not only the law of the land but also doing exactly what the religious teachers of that time commissioned him to do. yet knowing the truth Stephen prayed to God to forgive him. and in the name of the Holy Spirit our Lord and Savior did exactly that. God pushed His Holy Spirit right dab in the middle of Saul's path and showed Him the truth. I know I have come here many, many times trying to let you see what God speaks to me. my soap box is tattered and worn down and my feet have been covered with shaken dust but my strength is not my own. God wants you to know that unless we have the courage and strength it takes to forgive those who persecute us then no one can be saved, no one, not even us! Mark 11: 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. whether we want to accept it or not wicked has come upon us. the world is filled with the hate needed to destroy itself. God's wrath is upon us and even though He has promised to spare those who put their faith in Him, wicked still has a mission to corrupt your soul. we will be tested and many of us will be put to death because evil has a soul to kill. like Stephen and so many others since then Christians have been and will be cursed and beaten, ridiculed and lied to. your job is to have the strength to do what Stephen has done. if not for Stephen Saul could have never become Paul. our worst enemy is one of God's creations and one He longs to rescue. just like your soul can be sparred so too can those who hate you. your job is to have enough faith in God to allow that to happen by forgiving them and praying for them as well. John 6: 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent It is faith together with forgiveness that makes mankind perfect. Praise God, be a Blessing, bubba

Evil seems to be winning but we know the end of the story. Jesus Christ will return and His enemies will be judged according to their works. Those who are in Christ will not be judged. Praise God eternally for His grace and mercy. Phil
