Come back to the garden Where we first met I want to speak to you again When you first looked into My eyes Come back to the garden where you first ran away Come and let a new journey begin. To the place where living water flows Where you can see My Let your burdens go And be lost in My endless grace. Come and be renewed Come look through My eyes again See the world in a different view. Come back to the garden Where we first met I want to speak to you again When you first looked into My eyes Come back to the garden where you first ran away Come and let a new journey begin. Come and look into His eyes He loves you There's so much more waiting for you If only you'll return into arms He's got a passionate relentless love And He's calling you back home into the garden He wants to meet with you again So come back to the garden
Your poem reminds me of my favorite Hymn is "In the Garden"..a song my mother sang to me...and I sing to my children, I love the part where it says "He walks with and talks with me and tells me I'm His own"...it has always touched my heart. Like it says in your poem, I have envisioned Him looking into my eyes there reminding me of the verse in Song of Solomon which says "you ravish me with one glance of your eyes"...wow powerful stuff. In Christ Shirley
Come home to God because that is where we belong... .. your poem reminds me of how i felt ( still do) when at age 49 I realized just how much God loves me and that He is the love of my life. I am most comfortable and at home when i am in his presence.
