1-Year Membership Pricing Reduced!

C-16°|F4°Hello Everybody,

ChristianBlog.Com is announcing today a bold move on our part -- we are actually going to REDUCE the amount of our 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription! WOW!!

Way back on May 7th of 2007 ChristianBlog.Com announced our first "price increase for Premier Membership" and something we made the hopeful claim of, "( and hopefully only {price increase} )" and we have stuck by our word to not increase our Premier Membership Subscription pricing!

Today, however, we are making a truly remarkable public announcement that we are in fact going to REDUCE our 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription pricing -- something unheard of in this day and age when it seems all of our bills just keep going up and up!

But ChristianBlog.Com has more then once rocked the blogging industry by setting forth "industry changes" - so our long time members should know we aren't afraid to keep doing so!

C-16°|F4°Pricing Changes:

Since 05-07-2008 our 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription pricing has been $105.00 - a savings of $15.00 for anybody who wanted to pay for a whole years membership!

As of today, our 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription pricing is now priced at $93.24 - a savings of $26.76 - which works out to the nice number of $7.77 per month!

C-16°|F4°Some Fine Print:

Allow us to make a few notes of clarity here:

1) This will apply to those who pay by check or via PayPal. We have discontinued the additional fees for check processing. (wee!)

2) The price will apply for your own personal account only.

3) Should you desire to have an additional family members (who also have an account at ChristianBlog.Com) have 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription, the price will remain at $93.24 for each account you desire to upgrade!

4) This will only apply to new 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription! If you are presently a 1-Year Premier Membership Subscriber, this does not apply to you... (sorry, too much financial paperwork involved)... and please do not try to get around this by canceling your existing 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription (which is non-refundable anyway, per our legal agreement when you signed up), because if we do see you cancel your existing 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription and sign up for this... we will flat out deny your payment and send it back your way. We realize this might sound harsh, but it is only fair to us in the long-run. However, once your existing 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription expires, you are more then welcome to sign-up under our new 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription pricing! This is no different then when you pay $75 bucks a month for a cell phone plan and the next month the company offers the same plan for $64.99... don't even think they are going to let you get it for that price... it just won't happen and there are a lot of reasons why. Same applies here at ChristianBlog.Com with this price decrease.

C-16°|F4°Why The Price Decrease?

Yesterday the world was rocked by the largest stock market crash in modern history (even greater then in the days after 9/11).

The final figure was announced in the AP as "Dow plummets record 777"... and that got us thinking... thinking that a lot of people were going to be hurt pretty bad by further financial losses, and thinking that we sort of liked that number.... 777 that is. So, we sort of ran with it all night, talked about it over coffee (lots and lots of coffee) and then spent some time in meditation about it. When we all got back together we all realized that we needed to do something, and that the number 777 was the something we needed to do something with. Somebody suggested we ditch everything else we'd come up with, and apply the 777 to the pricing of our membership. At first most of us had a blank look on our face (we are not sure if it was from the coffee or the (possibly) brilliant idea) but the owner of ChristianBlog.Com instantly thought it was a perfect idea! And, thus, we have yet again set history! After a really late night / early morning meal we all got back together and spent some more time in meditation, and at the end of it, we all felt the idea of having a 777 somewhere in our pricing scheme was a great idea, and the best place to implement that was in our 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription pricing! What better thing to have then a number that worked out to $7.77 a month!

So for those of you who are not yet 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription Members... now is your time to score big and get onboard as ChristianBlog.Com Premier Members! We are not sure how long this pricing of $93.24 per year will last... so jump on it as soon as you can!

To upgrade your account please see our Membership Chart -- Simply press the "Upgrade Your Account" button underneath the "Premier Membership". One the next page will be our Premier Membership Policy Agreement. If you agree to it continue to the next page! On the next page will be two buttons (one at the top, one at the bottom). The bottom one is for the 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription. Click the orange button to jump over to PayPal.Com and make your subscription payment! Then just sit back and we'll get your account activated ASAP on our end!

Blessings to all of our members!

Hello All,

I do need to make one note about something posted above that was incorrectly stated.

If you are an existing member and sign-up for this new lower price, please be aware that we will not deny/refund your new 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription payment.

What we will do is append the additional 12-months onto your existing 12-month duration.

Of course, if you signed up via a PayPal Subscription, we would suggest you add on your calendar a day or two before your existing Subscription renews itself, to cancel it - to keep from getting re billed at your present price.

Everything else mentioned above is accurate and I am sorry for this getting published before I could review it myself.

I have a 1-year membership that expires 11-4-08.

If I understand this right, I wait until 11-4-08 to sign up for another 1-year membership. I hope this doesn't cause a disruption in my account if the new year doesn't take effect immediately. Would 11-1-08 be okay? That way any delay in paypal would not disrupt my account.

Marsha Tyler Ronquist (@KraftyKatz),

A little confusion can come into this issue because unlike everybody who is on a month-to-month subscription, those who pay on a 1-year basis have the option of paying three different ways. The first is via a check, the second is via an auto-renewal PayPal subscription, and the third is via a one-time PayPal payment.

What you would need to do is figure out which of those three methods you paid by. If you paid via the auto-renewal PayPal subscription, then you would want to be careful that you do not get charged again at the end of your next billing cycle - if you decide to jump onboard our new 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription payment option.

Just remember, for anybody who is an existing 1-Year Premier Membership... this new 1-Year Premier Membership Subscription payment does not REPLACE your existing Premier Membership payment. It will only extend it at a new lower price for another year.

There system trouble in the way you are handling you finances. That private payment agency requires you to have credit card to pay them. Or a bank draft. Some of us are not so well to-do and sometime all we have is money orders and snail mail. Perhaps you have your reasons. But instead of lowering the premium which is nice to do,better yet pick up some batch of small money from lower income group who don't have credit cards or bank accounts. And that my two cents worth. May you be blessed. Amen.

We make it very clear on our Membership Chart that we accept payments via check and credit card.

Suffice to say, if you do not have a credit card nor a checking account... we probably would advise you to keep your money tucked away in the jar under your bedroom floor.

Sorry but for legal reasons we can only accept check or credit card.

Thank you.

John,

I paid a 1-time fee last year. I did ask you about this last April and thought you told me then that I would have to renew myself that is was not automatic renewal.

@ tohimbeglory

Paypal does money transfers from your personal checking account also. It just takes a few days longer for the electronic transfer from a checking account, sometimes up to a week.

John,
I paid the 1-year price of $93.24 today, 10-31-08. My current ends 11-4-08. I did not see anything about renew automatically at the end of the year. Did I miss it some how? Will it renew in 2009?

@krafykatz,

Sorry for the mis-information on my part last year. Most of our 1-year memberships do not auto-renewal (they do for about 5% of those using it).

We have applied your order from today to your account and you are now good for another 1-year!

Thanks for continuing to be a member of ChristianBlog.Com!
