ChristianBlog.Com Turns 10 Years Old!

Greetings Christian Bloggers,

Ten years ago today, the ChristianBlog.Com website opened up registration to the public.

Along the way many have come and gone, a few brave have stuck around, and many many others have joined along the way.

Over 50,000 (fifty thousand) blogs have been published in the last ten years.

Over 150,000 (one hundred fifty thousand) comments have been posted to those 50k blogs.

Over 200 blog series have been created.

Over 30,000 (thirty thousand) accounts have been created by Christians from around the world, from almost every nation on the planet.

And there have been over 70 million page views, an average of 20,000 page views per day.

The motto of the website is the same today as it has always been, "A place to be blessed and to bless others!"

To everybody, past and present, that has been apart of the ChristianBlog.Com ministry, I want to say a huge thank you.

I can honestly say that I was really blessed the day I found CB. I have found a place where I can come and find acceptance and friendship . That is why I get so cross when anyone came here simply to upset the community . Now tha really for my Irish blood boiling.

I am in awe at the sacrifice john has made to keep this site available and I feel that I have an obligation to support he who supports so many. God keep you john, may he bless you , surround you , prosper you and sustain you as you serve Him .

Thank you John for your tireless persistence in following the vision God has given you. For the many who have been blessed may the blessing be returned to you pressed down and running over!

For he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow, for he's a jolly good fellow ... and so say all of us! :tippinghat:

Thank you John.

God bless,

What more can I add?- not much more that has already been said other than to quote a passage from Jeremiah 29:7 - 'Pray to the Lord for it, (CB) because if it prospers, you too will prosper.'

I happen to remember the night I joined CB. It was July 29, 2007. I blogged a bit that summer but things got busy once school started and I only wrote a few blogs that fall. Then in December of that year, I got cancer and would be in treatment until August 20, 2008.

I had a very aggressive form of breast cancer and my chemo treatment reflected that. My world would have shrank to the upper level of my house except for CB. It really did become my primary contact with the outside world and I will never forget it. God used people on this site to walk with me through the darkest and most difficult times in my life, to date and He continues to do so.

I will never forget the love people on this site extended towards not only me but my family in December 2009 when I was fighting for my life after a ruptured brain aneurysm. Of course, I didn't know it at the time but later I would read the messages and even cards I had received from members.

I know that you, John B. Abela (@abelajohnb), have made great sacrifices in order to keep this website not only up and running but keeping it "a place to be blessed and to bless others" and I thank you for that. Happy Birthday, CB!

Happy birthday CB. Thank you for providing a place for Christians to share their stories and their hearts missions.

Congrats CB! Community can be such a life support to those who cannot get out and to those who just don't have anyone who want to be a ear and words of support. CB from the very first days has sought to be top of the line and Christ centered in every service provided. The individuals who have poured into the ministry have truly been the Christ to those who have entered the doors here. May the Lord continue to smile upon the desire of the CB team and there goal to be blessed by serving the Lord and to bless others through the services and fellowship this site provides.
