Embedded Amazon.Com Product Links

Hello Everybody,

For a few months ChristianBlog.Com has been testing out a method of embedding links to popular websites (such as christianbook.com and amazon.com and others) to help our members be able to access books and other resources for key words within published Content here at the ChristianBlog.Com website.

We have finalized this product testing and decided it was time to begin rolling it out site-wide.

Over the course of the next few weeks the vast majority of our website will begin to automatically embed links to Amazon.Com for keywords that are used within Published Content at our website.

It should be noted that this will only affect Non Pledge Partners.

We feel that if you are a Pledge Partner your Published Content should not be hampered with in any way.

However, if you are using the website free-of-charge, we feel it is only fair to the ChristianBlog.Com Services that we attempt to capitalize via Amazon.Com associate fees via your Published Content.

ChristianBlog.Com in no way we change verbage of your Published Content - we will only turn certain key words and phrases into links to Amazon.Com products, and other online products as we determine the need.

If you desire to not have your Published Content embedded with links to third-party websites you will need to support the ChristianBlog.Com Services by becoming a Pledge Partner.

You will be able to determin which links are the Embedded Links by the black underline dots beneath the website links.

Thank you,

Marjorie Albertson @marjorie ·

Take a look at [blog=awesomewonder/do-you-remember-when-you-where-blind-death-and-mute/]this blog[/blog] by [member=awesomewonder]awesomewonder[/member] and you will notice how the "Apostle Paul" has been converted to an embedded link - to a book at amazon.com called "The Apostle: A Life of Paul" (which is what I consider the finest book every authored about Paul).

You could also take a look at [blog=efrank/we-are-divinely-protected/]this blog[/blog] by [member=efrank]efrank[/member] (who I happen to feel is publishing some of the best devotional style blogs we've seen at CB this year) and you will notice that the phrase "walk by faith" has been embedded to a book by A.W. Tozer (who happens to be my favorite author) called Reclaiming Christianity: A Call to Authentic Faith.

I hope that helps explain things.

I looked at Awesomewonder's blog & saw what it did... Will Amazon.com give money to the site if sales are made through this?

Marjorie Albertson @marjorie ·

Okay, now I get it. I hope it helps, Marjorie
