New Features For Pledge Members: My Blog Calendar

Greetings All,

A few minutes ago we turned on a new feature we have been working on this week.

This new feature is a first in a line of new features that ChristianBlog.Com will be developing for our Pledge Partners that will be displayed on the right-side of our members profile page.

Our first feature, just released, is called "My Blog Calendar" and is located on the top-right of the profile page of all non-free members.

It is simple in that it displays a calendar of the given month, with links within the calendar on days when the member has published a blog.

It looks like this:

When you click on any day that has had a blog published it will take you to a new page we have developed, which will show a list of all blogs published by the member within the given month.

This new page includes all of the standard members privacy features that our members profile pages have.

It looks like this:

We are sure most of our members will really enjoy this, so at this time there is no way to turn off this feature. As we continue to develop more right-side profile features, such as this new feature, we will have a nice interface to enable/disable the right-side features that we develop. Should you have any ideas for additional right-side profile features, we would welcome your suggestions.

If you are not already a Pledge Partner we encourage you to become one! You will not only get some great additional features but you will be helping to support the ChristianBlog.Com ministry!

Many blessings,
ChristianBlog.Com

I saw this pop up and have already been clicking away on it. I think it is a great and fun feature. Thanks!

Blessings!

I saw it too and gave it a try. For those who publish regularly, this is a quick way to check on recent blogs. My only suggestion to this feature would be the ability to go back to earlier months. This would be a tremendous help when going back searching for something written earlier like K;princess: did with a recent blog.

John, you da MAN! Thanks...

Shalom, Art

Hello All,

I have now added this to the personal "Archive" page for all members.

While I was at it I added the standard [link=http://www.christianblog.com/account/account-privacy.php]account privacy[/link] to the archive page... and... I added the main profile block of users information to the archive page - this will make linking to your archive page a bit nicer as it will display more information.

You can access your archive page by going to your profile page, and where it displays your most recent blogs, there will be a link that mentions your archive. You can also go to: http://www.christianblog.com/archive/your-usersname/ - such as: [link=http://www.christianblog.com/archive/abelajohnb/]http://www.christianblog.com/archive/abelajohnb/[/link] for my personal archive page.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments everybody! So long as I am able to continue to bless all of you, I will keep doing my best to improving the website as much as possible!

John

Hello All,

I have now added this to the Blog page.

That means that on your individual blogs the pretty little calendar will now be displayed.

You can enable/disable this via your [link=http://www.christianblog.com/account/privacy/blog.php]Blog Privacy Settings[/link] [i](only applies to your blog page)[/i]

Enjoy!

John
