Greetings Christian Bloggers,
We have just turned on a new feature that will allow you to receive an alert when new prayer requests have been posted to the Prayer section of the ChristianBlog.Com website!
This is a feature that was requested we add to the website via our contact form and we received a number of requests for it over the last few months. We try hard to add to our website those feature requestes that we receive multiple requests for and having a way of being notified when new prayer requests are posted has been one of the feature requests we have received a great deal of requests for.
This new feature will only alert you to new prayer requests. It will not alert you to comments added to any prayer requests. The idea behind this new feature is to let you know when new prayer requests have been posted so you can read them. If multiple new prayer requests since you last visited the prayer request page you will only get a single notice. The alert, unlike all other alerts, will not show you how many, just that there are new ones. As soon as you visit the Prayer section of the ChristianBlog.Com website the alert will go away.
You can enable, or disable, this feature within the navigation section of the Prayer section of the ChristianBlog.Com website. By default it is disabled, so if you would like to receive alerts you will need to enable this feature.
Thank you to everybody that has contacted us asking for this feature to be added to the ChristianBlog.Com website and we hope it serves is purpose well.
I am thrilled about this new feature and that we do not have to go to our account page to enable or disable it. I think there will be a quicker response time and a request is less likely to go unnoticed. Many requests are rather urgent and I know how good it feels to be able to see that someone is praying for you. Thank you!
What an excellent "feature" for ChristianBlog, and I echo K ' comment:
