Realizing and acknowledging the blessings from our Lord makes us Humble. I came to the United States in 2004 and it has been more than 15 years since I first came in here. One fact that always used to take people by surprise is that I did not have my drivers license. I did not drive, if I have to get to some place I either walk or use public transportation or shared rides. Somehow I never felt that my ability to drive will make my life easier. I always felt that my ability to drive will make my life more stressful if I own a car. But then after living in a few states were driving a car is required, I realized that I should take my driving more seriously and I should get my drivers license. I started my try when I was in the state of Tennessee, but I could not get my drivers license from there. Then I moved to the state of Washington, where as part of my driving test I have to do the parallel parking, backing around the corner, and many other maneuvers to get my license. I spent my first one year of my stay in the state without taking any effort to get my drivers license. But then December 2018, I gave my written test to get my permit and then I took my classes to learn driving. Now finally by God's Grace, I am able to get my drivers license yesterday. It was big milestone in my life to be able to get my drivers license. Now with that comes lots of added responsibilities, now I have to own a car, drive it carefully and maintain the car, and everything, now as I look our God, thanking Him for His mercy, and I ask Him for strength to do all these, He teaches me be humble in my heart and do everything with Prayer and confidence in the Lord. Reminded me of a verse that I have been trying to stand on for the last two years... 2 Chronicles 15:7
But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.
