Cross gives us the time and oppurtunity to correct ourselves..

By His death on the Cross, Jesus Christ has given us the time and oppurtunity to correct our wrongs.

1 Corinthian 6:19-20Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.

Jesus Christ through His Blood has brought the time, grace and mercy from the Father that we are given the oppurtunity to repent, correct ourselves, to humble ourselves, walk by the word and plan, and be in harmony, communion with the Lord, and patiently wait for what is in Heaven to come down on earth.

Luke 13:5-9I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.” Then he told this parable: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it but did not find any. So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard, 'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?' “'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it. If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.'”

I have no words to explain or to even think about not using this time and opportunity. We need to always remember that this life we are living is not ours.. it is His.. this life has been bought with the price of the Blood on the Cross.. this life has been given to us to correct our mistakes. There is no meaning if someone comes into Christ and still continues to lead His sinful life.

2 Corinthians 5:1-5For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
