Don't under estimate God - His Strength - His Love

Isaiah 40:26Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Most common mistake I have seen many people including medo, is to under estimate God. We underestimate both His Love and also His Power.

Jeremiah 10:6No one is like you, Lord; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.

Daniel 2:37Your Majesty, you are the king of kings. The God of heaven has given you dominion and power and might and glory;

I would say, I started my lifeunder estimating His power, assuming that I amin total control of my life. I have authority over my life. I can do what I love to do, I can plan my life based on my convenience, I can live this life the way I want to do. In a way, I would say I was totallyignorant of the authority and the power the Lord has on my life. When thing started going out of control, I slowly incline towards Prayer and Discipline. But once things are correct again I start going my ways, ignoringGod's plan for my life,ignoring the people who get hurt because of my habits, ignoring people who are need my love but remain unloved, ignoring the good work I can do. I was underestimating the power and authority God has in my life, till He brought my life to a place where I knew I was so weak and I cannot move further. He made melearn whatever I ignored. He made me bow down His throne, He taughtme to be meek and humble, He showed my the reality and my true nature. He showed me the true "I AM" - His authority and His might.

Ezra 9:6-9and prayed: “I am too ashamedand disgraced, my God, to lift up my face to you, because our sins are higher than our heads and our guilt has reached to the heavens.From the days of our ancestorsuntil now, our guilt has been great. Because of our sins, we and our kings and our priests have been subjected to the swordand captivity,to pillage and humiliationat the hand of foreign kings, as it is today. “But now, for a brief moment, theLordour God has been graciousin leaving us a remnantand giving us a firm placein his sanctuary, and so our God gives light to our eyesand a little relief in our bondage.Though we are slaves,our God has not forsaken us in our bondage. He has shown us kindnessin the sight of the kings of Persia: He has granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins,and he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.

Once I knew Him - the next mistake is to underestimate His love, I used to feel I am a sinner and I am a lowly person, I am very broken and very weak person. I used to think I have no one to help me. I will have to be by myself, I don't have anyone to hold on to. What will I do with this life, this life has no meaning, this life has nothing for me. I used to be a very quiet and inconfident person. I used do to what I could doand lead a very simple life. A life with fasting, but nothing great to pray for. Everything seemed empty, but His presence alone was there. I did notrealizewhat it meant to have His presence, what it meant to be loved by Him, what it meant to be in His care. He again filled my life with His glorious Love and some much goodness and care, that I was so amazed to realize how much He loved me. He made me realize His love is the most wonderful treasure in this whole world. He will do anything and everything to keep me safe. His Love is amazing.

Psalm 42:8 By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me - a prayer to the God of my life.

Psalm 57:3 He sends from heaven and saves me, rebuking those who hotly pursue me - God sends forth his love and his faithfulness.

Psalm 117:2 For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.
