The lives of the apostles went through a great change after they witnessed the resurrection.. their purpose, their message and their destiny was all transformed, renewed and reborn with resurrection..
Post resurrection.. they witnessed Jesus Christ (the one who was crucified) being alive in Spiritual body.. through His breaking of bread.. through the touching of His wounds.. through His conversation with Peter.. after they were all convinced and reassured of the living Jesus.. they witnessed Jesus Christ ascending into Heaven and be united with the Father.. and finally on the Pentacost they were filled by the Holy Spirit.. their living relationship with the Spiritual Body of the Lord..
(NIV) 1 John 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched - this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.
Being the witness of the resurrection.. transformed them from disciples to apostles.. it transformed their belief.. and their faith.. their thoughts.. their acts.. now they were into the world preaching the truth which is beyond human hope and imagination.. truth beyond human limitations.. truth beyond all pains and sufferings.. beyond all possible human sins.. beyond all possible laws and restrictions.. beyond all possible disasters any human being can imagine.. as they walked in His faith.. their lives were transformed.. they were no longer worried about the earthly sufferings.. they no longer were worried about the death.. or the sins.. or any harm that could possibly touch them.. there is no limitation.. there is no pain.. no suffering.. that can stop them from Glorifying His majesty.. His truth which orignates, lives and propagates in Spirit..
Well written - a good blog - thanks.
