God has given me a tough land to plough..
1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them - yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.
When I look back on the path I traversed, I will need to accept that it has not been so easy. May be because I have comparatively been a very tough person, and God really brought excellent people in my life who are equally tough spiritually so that I really understand the Love of God and His care for me. I frequently hear people tell me "You are a tough person", "Your are a tough cookie." etc.,
Revelation 2:2 I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.
Now when I look at the kind of work I am doing and the kind of people with whom I interact and work with, I feel God has given me a tough land to plough. Mostly my collegues and teams are filled with bunch of non-believers, and I really get to show them that "My God makes me Unique". When you look at the skill an hard work we will all be the same, but still there is an unique wisdom, strength and identity which is given by the Holy Spirit, which always makes me stand unique in the crowd. Though it is tough land, I am able to plough it because of the strength and the guidance provided by the Lord. When people see us reaping the harvest out of the tough land, I see many people atleast understand that "My God makes me". They show interest in my God. It is not the book I read, it is the God whom I believe in who makes the difference.
Zechariah 7:12 They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the law or to the words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Lord Almighty was very angry.
Sometimes I agree that it is so tiring, but still God gives me the ways and ideas to be strong and keep going in the toughest paths. Onething is path is tough but there is not failure. There is only victory in Cross. He is so attentive and He keep providing all my needs.
2 Timothy 4:5 But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.
1 Thessalonians 5:12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you.
