1 Corinthians 15:37-38When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.
We were born as babies.. slowly we grewup to kids.. then to teens..then to adult.. thento old person.. then let go the physical body.. As I look at the changing phases.. there is something temporary which I have beencontinuosly letting go so far and there is something permanant which we are continuously holding.. this physicallife so far I have never been Permanent, it all been temporary.. and it has always been going forward to progress further.. rather than to hold on and stop. It is like a cycle of Harvest. Lifedoes not stop, it keeps going on (Birth and Death).
1 Corinthians 15:48-49As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man,so shall webear the image of the heavenly man.
Due to lack of understanding, we hold on to the physical body and its wordly necessities as though this is permanent. We spend time to nuture it, to keep it safe and comfortable. We feel this is what we are and this is the purpose of our being. But in the long run it is so tiring to hold on to something that it so weak (our body). As we see around us we realizethis body is something which gets sick, old and it dies. When we look at Buddha's life, this is the very reason why he he renounced his luxurious life and he wanted to understand the truth. Under the Bodhi trees he had the enlightment - "desire is the root of all evil". The message that this physical body is temporary is so clear and there is not argument about that.
1 Corinthians 15:35 But someone will ask, How are the dead raised? With what kind of body will they come?
Jesus Christshowed us How the body has to fall and die so that we will be risen into Spiritual Body. This gives us the exact understanding of why we have this life. This physical body, which is like a shell over the nut. If the content inside (inner being)is "the name of Jesus"which is very loving and good in the eyes of God, He will accept it. Else if the shellis Hollow or empty (abyss) or anything other than Jesusthen it will thrown into Hell.(Gehenna).
Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Jesus Christ is the Salvation andHe is the Way. He is the Seed and He is the Tree.
Inside this temporary physical body, we need to welcome Him and we need nurture His spirit to grow inside us. So that He bears the fruits inside us and we grow up into the spiritual beings, and be prepared to let go the temporary physical body. So that we can wait for His kingdom to come and we can be in His presence for ever.
1 Corinthians 15:44it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.
Romans 8:10But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness
