There are many people who have Bible at home, but they really dont understand what does it say, what is the background of it. People have no clue of what the old testament is talking about, what is the correlation between the different books in the Bible. People dont understand the relationship between Jesus Christ and the old testament, and so obviously they dont understand the role of the Holy Spirit in their lives. They know Jesus Christ who died on the cross, but that has no impact on their way of life.
When I intially started, I spent years to really understand and get the wholistic picture of the Bible. The more someonegets clarityin the Bible they see more light in their life. It is not so easy to know the Bible without knowing the History. I never studied theology, but still the hunger and thirst inside me made me to spend time to understand, the one who really is the truth of life. Some people attend the Bible college to truly appreciate what is happening in the Bible.
We know for sure that thirst and the wisdom of Lord cannot be forced into kids, they have to learn it by themselves. Unless and until Holy Spirit really comes into their heart, parents and teachers can only pray and hope that the be saved. People can recieve the anointing of the Holy Spirit in any age, Jesus Christ was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, He grew up with the wisdom of the Spirit, and at the age of thirty He was baptized and the Holy Spirit came upon Him. There is no restriction to the age when someone receives the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:17 'AND IT SHALL BE IN THE LAST DAYS,' God says, 'THAT I WILL POUR FORTH OF MY SPIRIT ON ALL MANKIND; AND YOUR SONS AND YOUR DAUGHTERS SHALL PROPHESY, AND YOUR YOUNG MEN SHALL SEE VISIONS, AND YOUR OLD MEN SHALL DREAM DREAMS;
It is the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that will lead the Children to the Lord. Children should be anointed with the Holy Spirit and guided to seek the Bible and the Wisdom. It will be awesome if they can grow up in the wisdom of the Spirit rather than in the worldly wisdom. It is the Grace of the Lord that can accomplish this.
I hope everybody prints out this little bog, puts it under their pillow and sleeps on it. Thanks for lighting the candle. God bless you.

This is so very well said.
"We know for sure that thirst and the wisdom of Lord cannot be forced into kids, they have to learn it by themselves. Unless and until Holy Spirit really comes into their heart, parents and teachers can only pray and hope that the be saved."
You're totally right Deepa! For myself actually, it was only when I received the Holy Spirit as an adult that certain things I had been told as a child about the Bible - stories and verses, little lessons from my grandmother - really began to have their proper clarity in my head. Even then, as you say "the more someone gets clarity in the Bible they see more light in their life." - yes, it's an 'improving' process that will go on for the rest of each of our lifetimes.
I think it's really wonderful how you have put the ideas in this blog into words. Thank you for sharing "This Little Light"!
