Psalm 11:4 The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.
When I look at life in its Holiness it is so beautiful, pure, calm, peaceful. But Sin is dirty, messy and chaotic. Most of the times I am sitting in the Church and thinking about the dirt, and mess, instead of meditiating on the Holiness of the Lord.
PSalm 96:9-10Worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness;
tremble before him, all the earth.
Say among the nations, The Lord reigns.
The world is firmly established, it cannot be moved;
he will judge the peoples with equity.
Being in Christ, Holiness comes to us in the form of the Holy Spirit. If we still continue to take the charecteristics of flesh, instead of taking the characteristics of the Spirit, then we are no getting the purpose of the Holy Spirit. And the purpose of the Lord's Sacrifice on the Cross.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Hebrews 12:14Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Meditating on the Holiness, the purity, the sinless nature of the Lord, His love for us and His redemption and eternal love. Rather than these we keep thinking about the sinful nature of the world the in completeness in it.
Romans 6:19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness.
Meditating on the Holiness of the Lord transforms this life with goodness and beauty.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
