How do I make someone understand that my God lives?

One of my friends at work asked me about my God, andShe said "I know that they put Jesus to deathon the cross, but why do you regard Him as yourGod?"Itwas a moment of realization for methat people don't understand that "My God Lives".

Acts 1:3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

How do I make her understand, that "He Lives".

Psalm 18:46-48The Lord lives! Praise be to my Rock!
Exalted be God my Savior!
He is the God who avenges me,
who subdues nations under me,
who saves me from my enemies.

My God is different and He lives with me (Holy Spirit). He is always there to guide me and guard me. He has given me a Heart that is alive. (not dead in sin.)

John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Luke 12:12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

My God is ever watchful of me He neither sleeps nor slumbers.

Psalm 121:1-4

I lift up my eyes to the mountains -
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip -
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

My God went through all the troubles for me so that He is seated at the right hand of the father, and can forgive my sins, and send angels for my guidance as required.

Acts 13:38 “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

My God is there for me in the valley of death, He saves me from the hands of death and Hades.

Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

My God is preparing a Place for me, where I can be with Him always.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

My God is planning the Best possible in this whole world.

Isaiah 48:17 This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.

My God did is not only for me, He did this for Her as well.. He is Her God as well.

1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Thank you Deepa. You have a way of making points by letting the Scripture do the talking that I appreciate. Our God lives!
I hope God will work on your friend so she can hear and understand! I hope he will give you the words when you need them!
God bless,

Beth M @blest ·

yes as Sarah said I love the way you use the Scriptures to illustrate your point.

Whenever the adversary tempted Jesus, he responded with"IT IS WRITTEN. .."

Praise God we serve a risen Savior!

Blessings, blest
