If we want to be for others.. we have to be strong.. else we will wait and keep others waiting as well.
Most of the time, I would want to help others, and there are many friends who will want to help me. The issue is not with the willingness to help, the issue is with the strength to help. As Jesus Christ said "Spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
The painful part is, not many are willing to overcome the weakness of flesh.
1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
But there are a few people who really take pains to overcome the weakness of the flesh, go beyond their inherent limitations to carry out the willingness of the Spirit. They are the chosen few from the crowd who listen to the voice of the Lord and walk in the unknown ways to the destiny revealed. God will guide them and hold them, and He will shield them and protect them. So that His name shall be gloried through their works and actions.
Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
Romans 8:29-30 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
It is not so easy to walk beyond these limitations. It is the painful cross we carry (our own weaknesses and limitations), and walk behind the Lord the path of victory and Joy.
Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
