Live a complete life everyday.. never leave anything incomplete or open..
Exodus 22:26 If you take your neighbor's cloak as a pledge, return it by sunset,
I had the habit of postponing the things I had to do.. many tasks I ended up doing only on last due date.. and I know God and His Holy Spirit have been so good, nice and caring of me that they keep reminding me.. for what I have to do till I get it completed.. but inspite of that I run into some issues like ignoring something that is required.. being lazy to complete it.. i know my heart is saying that.. but I will be lazy to do that and the next day I will be surprised to see an issue that poped out because of something that I ignored..
James 2:17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
So I have come to a resolution not to leave things open or incomplete.. everyday make sure that I complete all the tasks that my heart (from Spirit) is telling me to do immediately.. be it personal.. professional.. or spiritual.. anything. The interesting part is after I started doing this.. my days have been more busier.. this Saturday.. morning i woke up and sat for prayer.. but the time I finished my prayer.. i aleardy had a big list of items I had to complete for the day.. and I know to complete all those I cannot be lazying around.. I need to plan them perfectly so that I dont miss them..
This habit is really helping me in many ways.. it kind of helps me to align my day with the plans that Spirit has in store for me.. and when I go to bed I really know I have been a obedient and disciplined child of God.. I feel.. I have more time for me and I am taking care of me better than what I usually do..
Also when I look forward.. making my everyday to be complete.. I can ensure that I live my week completely.. and my month.. and slowly my year.. and slowly when I complete this earthly pilgrimage of my heavenward journey.. I should have completed my earthly life..
Colossians 2:6-7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
My grandmother always gave the advice to do things immediately rather than let them wait until later. Unfortunately I too have ignored that advice far too often and then I end up either scrambling or discovering that by the end of the day, things that I should have done have been left undone. Putting off until tomorrow rarely makes things either better or easier.
