Living in the Lie

We get trained to be Self centered, Self sufficient, Self sustaining, self righteous, self aware, self consious, self confident people. When we get into our schools, when we get into our jobs, when we want to get married to our spouses, these are the skills we are trained to be with so that we are successful. For us to live our daily lives, to fight our daily battles and to keep ourselves alive in this world we were taught to have all these skills. But are these the real skills that kepts us alive or is it the love of God and the will of God which kept us alive and brought us thus far.

Most of the time it feels as though we will fail if we let go these worldly principalities and start living the life which God has called us to live, which is filled with love, compassion, humbleness, sacrifice. We feel that we will be lost, we will be destroyed, we will be hurt by the enemy. We feel that the enemy will hurt us when we are weak, but the truth is God and His angels protect us. They are not going to let us down. We will be amazed by the victory of our Lord Jesus Christ in our lives. What Paul, Peter, John and all other apostles have lived through is the truth and reality of the faith and trust in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our Bible and our Holy Spirit testified to the truth of this reality. We have to over come ourĀ fears of failures to stand-up in the Lord.

Truth, which Jesus Christ came to reveal, is the biggest mystery in our lives, which was hidden from our minds. Since the day we were born our minds are trained to live according to the worldly principalities, which revolves around ego, pride, self, survival, anger, sin, greed, lust, temptation. It is really hard for us to let go all these worldly principalities, it we realize how deceitful and harmful they are. The real truth, glory, love and presence of God in our lives are hidden by the worldly principalities. Repentance is most needed in this world, we are taking things for granted.

Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness" (KJV)

We do not realize the fact that we are living in lies till God reveals us the truth. We do not realize the fact that we are living in dark till God reveals us the light. We do not realize the fact that we are living in wilderness till God reveals us our home. We do not realize the fact that we lost till God reveals me the path. We do not realize that we have been blind, till God opened our eyes. We do not realize the fact that we are dying till God showed us His life.

Once we know the truth, let us stand firm and hold on to it.
