Not Save Planet, Not Save Trees or Animal, But to SAVE Mankind

As I walk, as I read, as I discuss, I come across lots of initiatives, like Save Water, Save Electricity, Save Trees, Save Earth, Save the Planet, Save Animals and every possible thing.

But when I read my Bible it really does not focus on any of these, it does not teach me to prioritize any of these. It teaches me to trust in God who protected the Man kind from being extinct during the time of Noah's flood, though the whole planet got covered by water, God kept the Noah and His Family safe. Interesting part is after the floods receeded the Olive plant came up by it own. God did not have to anything special to protect it from the flood. But He asked Noah to Build an ARK to protect him and his loved ones.

Also, interesting part is when Jesus Christ lived and walked on this earth 2000yrs ago, this Earth was not a calm and peaceful place, there were Kings, Rulers, leaders, Wars, sins, lots of noise and chaos going around. But when I read the Gospel, it feels as though the space around Jesus was untouched by any of these. In the Gospel of John when I read and look at Jesus, His disciples and their conversations, it really does not talk about anything that is happening around them. Their thoughts, mind and their Spirit is only focussed on the Relationship between God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and His Followers. It only talks about their relationship in Spirit. It explains about how they coexist Spiritually, Father in Son, Son in Father, Jesus Christ in Disciples thorugh the Holy Spirit. They in Him and Him in them.

It talks about the Jesus being the Judge, and the intent is to make people understand the role of the Son in the Kingdom of Heaven, for the people who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Messiah and the chosen one. It does not really focus on some imaginary targets like Sin free life of the people or about transforming this present world into a Heaven or Permanent dwelling place. It amazes me when Jesus Christ, after telling everything that is going to happen to His disciples, He also says that you will all leave me and go away, but later you will come to believe in what I told you.

We as human beings think about protecting everything around us, but our prime responsibility as Christians is to save the Human Race, and make them accept Jesus Christ is the Messiah, without which there is no Salvation.

Amen!

God has entrusted us to care for the world He created for us and we should treat His gift responsibly. However, as you say, that is not our primary responsibility. Our primary responsibility is to share the Gospel.
