Salvation is the exit from the worldly sufferings and evil.. while resurrection is the entry into the Kingdom of God.. Salvation is death of our sinful life on the cross.. while Resurrection is our& spiritual rebirth which comes by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.. Salvation and resurrection of two sides of the cross.. they are incomplete without each other.. our life is complete when both are accomplished..
Luke 19:9Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
With Baptism.. we started our journey of Salvation which leads (transforms) to the resurrection.. but as we start walking in the paths of our daily earthlylife.. we are so engrossed and entangled by our daily needs and necessities that we forget about salvation and resurrection.. and we start running our own emotions, feelings and weeknesses.. we forget to realize the path of Salvation.. we don't realize the existence of our resurrected life in the Kingdom of God..
Initially when I read the Book of Revelation.. I was more worried about the destruction that was coming upon the evil.. and used to wonder what will happen to me.. but slowly as I started to realize the goodness of the New Earth and the Kingdom of God.. it does not seem to be so difficult to let go this life which is so full of evil and sufferings.. and hold on to the new life.. in the Kingdom of Heaven.. where peace and goodness reigns forever..
