Sheep playing the role of the Shephard..

Jesus Christ is a Good Shepherd.. and men though in reality are the Sheep are called (blessed) to play the Role of the Shepherd..

(NIV) John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Peter is a sheep in the flock for which Jesus Christ is the Shepherd.. and after resurrection Jesus Christ asked Peter to "Feed my lambs", "Take care of my sheep" and "Feed my sheep".. He asked Peter to play the role of the Shepherd.. the only question Jesus asks is do you love me?.. the answer to qualify to play the role of the Shepherd is to Love Jesus.. Peter was a Sheep, called to play the role of a Shepherd.. representing the Lord Jesus Christ who is the real good Shepherd..

(NIV) 1 Peter 2:25 For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.

Everyone of us who claims to love Jesus like how Peter did is called to play the role of the Shepherd similar to how Jesus Christ has taken care of His Sheep (Peter).. to turn Peter into a Shepherd like Him.. it is our duty to take care of the Sheep til it becomesa Shepherd.. To love Jesus Christ is the only criteria that is required for a Sheep to change into a Shepherd..

It is really so amazing to look at the blessing we the Sheeps who need care, guidance and be fed.. when we love Jesus Christ.. we get the Holy Spirit which guides us to be the Shepherds.. being ordinary man it is such a blessing that He has given us by His blood to play this role of being the Shepherd.. Our duty is to be a Good Shepherd.. and carry out His expectations.. and satisfy the purpose and be filled with the satisfaction of what we are called to be..
