Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.
In most of the situations in our life we need someone who stands beyond our fears,
Fear has kind of becomean integral part of ourlife. To most of us, as we grew we have the experience of losing something or someone we love the most. Now, when another person or thing comes to take the same place. The love and the passion is replaced with fear of losing, which stops us from being complete. We always needs God's help to keep us safe from the fear.
1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
Do not be afraid;you will not be put to shame.
Do not fear disgrace;you will not be humiliated.
You will forget the shame of your youth
and remember no more the reproachof your widowhood.
We need someone who will not be harmed by our fears.
We are creatures created with fear and we cannot run to help to any human beings, because they might also be potentially be harmed by the fear. It is very much possible that our fears might hurt the ones we love and they might want to keep away from out fears. Our fear has the potential to sow the seed of doubt into other person's heart and this might bring down their faith. So we need Christ our Brotherwho cannot be harmed by our fears. He is our stronghold, who can hold us and support us during the times of fear.
Job 6:15-17 But my brothers are as undependable as intermittent streams,
as the streams that overflow
when darkened by thawing ice
and swollen with melting snow,
but that stop flowing in the dry season,
and in the heat vanish from their channels.
Job 6:21Now you too have proved to be of no help;
you see something dreadful and are afraid.
Psalm 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The Lord is thestronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?
We need Someone whose plans remain untouched by our fears.
Most of the times in our personal lifewe end up inthe situations where we seewhat we feared came true. Our plans get shattered by our fears. Our happiness get to ashes when our plans turn into our fears. But we need to hold on to the plan of the Lord which remains unchanged because of any fear.
Psalm 20:4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
Psalm 33:11 But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations.
We need Someone who can save us from our fears.
We don't have the strength to fight our fears, we standup against it, it keeps increasing. We submit to it, fear rules us, and makes usmiserable. So instead we need to submit to the Lord who can fight with our fears and overcome it.
John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Great sharing. In Christ, we have no fear. GOD is our pen, our lee, our rod, our staff, our shelter, our deliver. Thanks for sharing. In Christ, Amen!
This is a wonderfully uplifting blog; and I appreciate the scriptures that you used to underscore how we "always" need God's help to keep us safe from fear.
