The Serenity Prayer

Whenever we face a mountain in our life - we have the question - God do you want me to cross the mountain or move the mountain? In Christ we cando both. We have the authority to move the mountain (and) the strength to cross the mountain. It is through our wisdom we choose the path to take. We have to ensure that the path we take is aligned with the Will of God. We should try not move the mountain that is for crossing as perthe will of God(or) try to cross the mountain which we have to move by will of God.

The life we have chosen in Christ is not a life of comfort and luxury, but instead is a life of hardships and challenges for the sake of Gospel,

Strength to Acceptand EndureHardships for the sake of the Gospel

In flesh, we get more tempted to runaway from hardships, rather than toface it and to endure it. As His Disciples we should choose to endure the Hardships. Though we get tested in many circumstances in our life, but still we pray that God gives us the strength that we don't change them, but we go through them and come out of it successfully.

(Paul's Hardships) 2 Corinthians 6:3 We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

2 Timothy 4:3-5For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Courage to Stand for the Lord

Hebrews 13:5-8

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
So we say with confidence,

“The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me?”
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Luke12:4 “I tell you, my friends,do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.5But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.6Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.7Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Prayer to make the right Choice (Acceptor Endureor Fight) in every situation in life:

Most of the times we have difficulty in accepting what is happening in our life, we keep askingifGod allowed this in our life? Is this something that I have to fight or endure?

Prayer for wisdom to the right decisionsis very important, because taking the wrong choices will make us tried andfail. Choosing something against the Word of God and the Teaching of the Lord, will put our lives into unwanted instability, darkness and ignorance. They are all interconnected and they act like a Vicious cycle from which we can be delivered only through His Mercy and Wisdom.

"God grant me the serenityto accept the things I cannot change;courage to change the things I can;and wisdom to know the difference."
